I couldn't find Tekken Tag Tournament, so I sent him the rest of the games, and bought Tekken off of ebay. George said he received after he received the games and money without Tekken. He then received Tekken. George Maltos said he forgot to send Fight Night, kept saying he'd send it, but he never did. I'd like him to send it. Reported By: futureman

I sent Castlevania PoR, he never sent the Brother Bear, Metropolis or Samurai Jack DVDs. Reported By: futureman
| Username: ccurcillo Email: ccurcillo@hotmail.com Address: 230 Tar Heel Dr. Delaware OH 43015 | Status: active Created: September 5, 2007 at 3:03am (EST) Edited: September 9, 2007 at 9:46pm (EST) Ccurcillo agreed to trade The Collector's Edition of Atlantis: The Lost Empire 2 Disc DVD for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time cart only for N64 on July 27th. In the trade it was stated that Zelda was cart only and ccurcillo wrote in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (DVD) and I asked and made sure it was the Collector's Edition. On his list he had Atlantis: The Lost Empire -- Collector's Edition DVD (condition: very good, box: yes). We agreed to send at the same time, yet ccurcillo didn't send until he received on August 2nd. He sent 2 DVDs and the cover art bent. I messaged ccurcillo and asked where the case was, he said that he never said he said he had the case even though when I asked he promptly deleted Atlantis from his list. His arguments from this point included that my game didn't come with a case, and a link for $10 cases that he said were .35. The mods got involved and he told them that no one should send cases to save on shipping, and as of September 5th a majority of his DVDs on his list state they include the case. I asked for Zelda back but he said that he didn't have it anymore, and he wouldn't say what happened to it, he should have gotten it at the same time, but he supposedly got rid of it before the trade was completed. If you look at his ratings you can see that he sometimes doesn't send what is agreed on or leaves out pertinent information. I would like $15 for Zelda, and money to ship the DVDs and cover art if he wants them back. I haven't heard from ccurcillo since August 8th, he never offered to send the case as he states in his comments and he is selling a copy of Zelda Ocarina of Time on half.com for 15.95 yet he thinks $15 for Zelda is unfair. Here is the link, the game has been on for at least 3 days as of September 9th. http://product.half.ebay.com/The-Legend-of-Zelda-O... [ This Note Added by GameTZ Moderators 09/05/07 : We exchanged several emails with both ccurcillo and futureman over this situation. We even had to check backups to confirm that ccurcillo's original Atlantis: The Lost Empire DVD listing said "box: yes". Given that ccurcillo's listing said it had the box, it seems strongly implied that the trade included the box. When ccurcillo created the offer, he manually entered the DVD's name and excluded condition and box info by so doing (was this intentional?). He didn't mention he wasn't sending the DVD box anywhere. At best, this seems sneaky to us. At worst, it was deliberate "bait & switch" deception. When we talked to ccurcillo about this, he told us, "I have just gotten in the practice of only sending inserts to save on shipping, figuring that if most people did this, everyone would have extra DVD cases on hand. And, if someone complains, I can offer to purchase them a DVD case." What?! I was shocked by this response. It's OK to do this, but if you're going to do it, you have to be clear about it. Simply not mentioning it, especially after you listing says it had a box, is deceptive. As futureman mentioned ccurcillo is still listing most of his items has having boxes, yet he apparently has no intention of sending boxes. futureman is a collector who wanted a complete/original DVD. When he didn't get what he was expecting, ccurcillo was entirely unhelpful. He said, "I never said that my DVD included the case. I don't have your Zelda game anymore." ccurcillo seems to feel he owes futureman $0.25 for doing this. We disagree, he owes futureman the chance to reverse the trade and get his stuff back or compensation ($15 is reasonable for N64 Zelda). ] Reported By: futureman | |||
| Response from Accused "Bad Trader": September 5, 2007 at 10:48am (EST) The trade that was agreed upon DID NOT INCLUDE THE CASE? This trader DID NOT READ THE TRADE carefully. besides, everyone knows that you can purchase DVD cases for like $.50. If this person needs a case for the DVD, they can buy one. I even offered to send them the $.50 for one. The link that I sent him was $10 FOR 25 CASES. Again, THEY DIDN'T READ CAREFULLY. I think this is ridiculous to file a BTR over a $.50 DVD case, THAT WAS NEVER AGREED TO IN THE TRADE TO BEGIN W/. I sincerely hope that the moderators will revoke this BTR, since it states that I didn't send something that was NEVER AGREED UPON IN THE TRADE. The fact that we allow BTR's to be filed over such trivial things as $.50 DVD cases is something that should be reconsidered. | ||||
