| Username: Id Email: xforgethestreets@aim.com Address: 515 Monroe Street, Carleton, MI 48117 | Status: active Created: November 15, 2004 at 4:27pm (EST) Brad and I agreed to trade my Donkey Kong Country (SNES) for his Escape From Monkey Island (PS2) on August 16, 2004. Even though we agreed that Brad would send first, I decided to be a nice guy and send at what I thought was the same time (I tend to do this with people who seem to be trust worthy). Brad has long since received Donkey Kong Country (I have the email to prove this), though he has yet to report such information to the GameTZ database. He has also not reported that his side of the trade has been sent out to me, nor has he sent me an email saying such. Brad has spoken of moving and of not being able to find the game, to which I was completely understanding and more than patient. However, the last message I sent has thus far gone unanswered. As it has been three months since we pended the trade and he has said that the game I sent has already arrived, I feel it necessary to file this BTR. I am hoping this will be motivation enough for Brad to get my game out to me. I hope to resolve this matter as quickly as possible, and I will take down this complaint as soon as I receive Escape From Monkey Island. Reported By: Angelo | |||
| Response from Accused "Bad Trader": August 24, 2007 at 3:11pm (EST) I know this is gonna sound kinda weird, but it's been like 3 years, is there anyway for me to resolve this BTR? I really don't remember what happened, but if we can somehow resolve this, i'd be very appreciative. | ||||

Joe and I have 2 pending trades. In our first trade I agreed to send first and Joe agreed to send after he received my games. We created another pending trade while waiting for the first pending trade to close. I agreed to send this second part of the trade and Joe agreed to ship all of the stuff combined from both trades at once at the same time that I was sending the second set of items that we were trading since he had written an email saying that he had received the games from the first trade. These are the dates that everything I sent out my part of the deals, and the date that he said he would ship out his part: - 1st trade: I sent my games April 25, 2003 (pended April 23, 2003), and he wrote me saying he received my games May 4. - 2nd trade: I sent my games May 5, 2003 (pended April 29, 2003) - He said he sent all games for both of these trades on May 5, 2003. I have not received anything from him. He completed the first trade but claims not to have received second set of games, I find this hard to believe since it has been 2 months now and I have not received the games he agreed to send me. I have been very patient and came through with my end of the deal. As soon as I receive the games that we agreed upon I will take this BTR down, but for all other traders reading this I would recommend that you Do Not trade with Joe (nikon, nes420, J. Bird). He has trades that are still pending from March, April, and May. I only want to finish this trade and get the games that I had agreed to trade for.
