For the Fallout 3 DLC Disc share, I had everyone either send me the money now or wait until it got right before them to request their share. It was to be 1.42 NON-CC PP. Now, if deals hadn't given me the work-around, I would have been fine to cancel it on my end or even complete it, but he pulled some crap I do not like.
--- June 1st ---
First off, after pending the trade, he says he doesn't have the PP right now (he bought something on the forums after he said this) and if I'd take a money order. I said it doesn't matter, I just need it some time before he receives the item. He says OK. I give him a time table of a month for it to get to him (with no complications).
--- June 13th ---
The DLC disc gets lost in a truck in New York for multiple days and I inform everyone on this day that it may be lost and if they want refunds (mass message). deals422 says it's okay, he'll wait a little longer. That night, it gets delivered and it's back on. That's not even enough time to go buy it himself.

Well, sorry deals. I didn't know trying to orchestrate a 15 man disc share is fudging hilarious, while you back out -- knowing FULL well when you'd get it.
He then gets into an argument with me about how he just wants to finish the trade to get his feedback up (because, if you hadn't seen already, he's a very, VERY slow shipper and he's shady) and I told him no; it's the basis of principles for him to cancel it because he backed out of an agreement. He responds with,
just have them delete it stop trying to act fudge up about something thats not that serious

Conclusion
I summed up these parts in easy reading. I hope people read these because I have marked seven people with notes / canceled trade reports in their profile for shady requests, deals, talking, etc. and six of them have had BTRs (none had prior) in the past few months.
Deals fits that persona.
It may not seem like a big deal to others, but deals' carelessness and nonchalant attitude has me worried for a bigger boom in the future. Anyone who is so removed from the community while making an effort to get free things (subscription time, freebies, etc.) from everyone, every chance he gets is setting up for a grand finale some time down the line. I just hope it it doesn't happen. |
