None of those are UV.

Some are DMA some XML and I believe some of those never had codes. The rarer ones also go for $15-20

Best Buy is going to release these films all with codes very soon. I'm just getting ahead of it now.

I believe you are correct, they are re-releasing. However, re-releases generally dont have a huge supply on the open market, so the codes still sell for $10+. Good deals are generally found around here though, and Im sure someone who buys the new disc will sell you the code for that price. Good luck!

Yeah. I have all the Iron Man flicks and Avengers but I didn't have the UV code. I don't feel like buying them all over again just for the code.

If you use vudu you can pay $2 for their Disk to Digital service, for the movies you own.

That doesn't work for any Disney movies which all the Marvel ones are unfortunately.

The reason no one has them is because these movies aren't ON UltraViolet. They're Disney movies, which means Disney Movies Anywhere, which was recently folded into MoviesAnywhere.com. You're not going to find UV versions of them.

I saw them at Wal Mart and Best Buy on sale for $19.99 each. It says Blu Ray and Digital HD on the cover. So you're telling me they don't have a slip inside with the UV copy?

Yes, that is exactly what I am telling you. Look on the back of those boxes, and you will NOT see a UV logo.

The Digital Copy is for Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA), NOT UltraViolet. There is a slip inside with a DMA code. Disney never participated in Ultraviolet (UV). Disney did their own service, Disney Movies Anywhere, that did NOT connect to UltraViolet, which pretty much everyone else used.

Now, there's a new site, MoviesAnywhere, that's basically Disney Movies Anywhere 2.0, and also pulls in your movies from Vudu (including UV movies), iTunes, and Google. This means your Disney and UV movies can all be on the same platfornm. BUT, not all of the movie studios joined this new platform, so some movies (notably from Paramount and Lionsgate) don't show up there yet. I'm betting they will join up sooner or later though, rather than be left behind.

To add a bit more, if the producer was Disney, yes they are DMR/MA, including Pirates of the Caribbean and Marvel. I appreciate these more, as they give me rewards points for Disney Movie Rewards where I earn free stuff, like other movies.

Ones I have the movies on the Movies Anywhere platform, they link it to my VUDU and pull in all my movies. So, while I log in my movies with MA, all are pulled in and play on my VUDU app. :)
