Occasionally I forget my Switch at home and have like 20 minutes to kill, but all these games seem boring and the same these days.

Either it's a build your fortress and wait hours for stuff or pay micro transactions.

Or run forever and jump or Dodge.

Or some tapping game or something...

The only I really liked was the Honor Harrington ship battle one, but that never got updated since mid 2015 and doesn't even work now.

Any ideas on anything good?

Nope, that's pretty much all mobile games haha

I miss Tiny Death Star, personally. It's Tiny Tower, but Star Wars haha. It was taken down when in like 2016 or something, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere since. That games used to help me pass my time on the phone a lot.

Actually, one that actually holds my interest has been Fire Emblem Heroes. It's a far cry from a real FE game, but it's not bad.

I play Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and Marvel Future Fight. Both can be good for quick play sessions if you don't care about being competitive.

MotoHeroz is the only free mobile game that I'm glad to have played. Well I can think of a few decent ones but none that matter in the long run.

Trainyard is probably my favorite, one of the best puzzle games I've ever played. There is an excellent mobile port of Rollercoaster Tycoon that combines the first 2 games with a great touch screen interface. Physics puzzlers like Where's My Water, Cut The Rope, Enigmo, Angry Birds (and all their various spin offs) are fun. Construction games like World of Goo and Bridge Constructor work well.

The Witness has a mobile port that would probably work well too.

I'd recommend Auralux. It's a simple, fun strategy game that involves battling over planets with two computer opponents.

My advice? Magic DOSBox. It's a DOS emulator for your phone and it works incredibly well! If you got some old school DOS games, you just put them on your phone and set it up. You could be playing in minutes. Nothing like portable Blood, Masters of Orion 2, Eye of the Beholder, or even Daggerfall. You'd be surprised by how many games you'll want to try.

The table costs really add up, but I enjoy the Pinball Arcade.
