Most upscale furniture stores will have them to test. I know a lot of malls have massage chair stores too, but they can be a bit gimmicky too. I know some closed down from lack of sales, but those are the only places I would think you can try them.
Though there's a lot of arcades around here too that have chairs set up for parents to pay and use while their kids play games, but I'm betting their chairs are more industrial strength and 10k + each or something.
I researched a ton and think overall Ogawa is one of the better brands for the money, so I went with it. Of course I was able to test it at a furniture store too. Sometimes in December they mark them down because the new models come out by the new year as well.
