I only need one line and from the look of major carriers all unlimited plans go for around 60 bucks and with a brand new phone would bring most bills up to around 75-85. I'm only interested in iPhones and I'm only interested in main carriers and not their subsidiaries due to the internet slow downs those plans usually have. I spend too much time in the cab to have my internet slow down on me. I hear Verizon is a billion dollars a month and Sprint and T-mobile don't let you make phone calls and use the internet at the same time which a deal breaker. For me. That pretty much limits my options to ATT which based on my previous experience with them I'm okay with. I just want to know if there are any crazy deals, bundles or tie ins that I shouldn't miss out on.

Spoke to an online customer service rep about a new phone and a basic unlimited plan she said it would run me between 75-85 depending on GB size and insurance but I want to make sure I don't leave anything on the table. I know they had a deal with Direct TV to service your home internet and TV too a while back.

LOL!

You don't really want a deal if you are only limiting yourself to AT&T and nothing else.

If you wanted a deal, you should have gotten in on the deal I posted a couple of weeks ago HERE. My wife and I are loving our new phones!

I'm not only gonna stay with ATT as far as they know they offer most of what I need but I'm well open to other carriers if there's a no brained deal. I didn't realize how far I was leaning toward ATT until 2/3rds the way through writing that.

Cheapest one is Red Pocket however i don't think they offer unlimited data. I got mine on sale for 60.00 the whole year; they go by month on what you get i forget how many minutes and txts but data is 500mb (i got the cheapest one) but there are more options available. No rollover. Even if not on sale still cheapest.

Next is Tracfone and Striaght Talk they have 45 unlimited all but i'm certain after a certain size used on data the speed drops. I've used them and are just so so. Any problems arrive you are on your own. At one time i thought i heard one of the those were 40 but could be wrong, it's the same service and line for both.

Verizon is likely the most expensive but it's like number 1 or 2 carrier next to att

I'm on T-Mobile cause only one i could get easy on red pocket, rest the companies there can be used but more complicated to setup data and may require wifi which i don't. I'm ok with them so far except them selling my number to 3rd parties and i can get telemarket all the time, no way to block hundreds of different locations and numbers they use. They claim are the best but i don't think they are in terms of sales.

I would not use Sprint.

I'm paying $60/mth including all fees/taxes for unlimited everything for TWO lines with T-Mobile. Including mobile hotspot. The catch is I'm not the primary account holder, my retired mother is. This is a aged 55+ plan, but only the primary account holder needs to be 55+. Either person can pay for the whole thing. You also must autopay both lines at once. This is really a $70/mth plan with a $5 discount per line making it $60. So grab an old person and get in on this. Just take them with you when you set it up.

My uncle who I own and share the house with Is 58 so that's a possibility. Don't need two lines though.

It actually costs more for a single line I'm pretty sure. No free Netflix like they advertise though.

You mentioned with T-Mobile you cannot use talk and data and that's not true. That's an issue with Verizon with iPhones unless you want to use data for your talking and switch over to volt; however if your area drops out of volt you won't be able to use data and continue to talk.

In my opinion it really depends on the area you live. Do you know anyone near you that has T-Mobile, att or Verizon? For me where I live T-Mobile is excellent and is the best deal. It doesn't work well though where my parents live. Where my friends live, Verizon is a dead spot. If T-Mobile works in your area though, that's the way to go imo for cost if you can get in on a family or senior plan.

Str8 talk on Verizon network is $45/mo with 8 gb (before throttled), I think it's $55 for unlimited data. Got the Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro for $50 which has been excellent so far. $50 Phone, no contract. Pretty solid.

No, there is sales tax and a dollar or two in fees. Not positive on the unlimited though, just saw a commercial for it. Never actually bought an unlimited card (if my area even has them yet).

I didn't think about the taxes and such on my post. However red pocket that i bought online no tax or fees if that service would work for you. The tracfone i had that i bought at a real store not online had taxes, had to move to different one cause i was having problems, it was either them or samsung doing it and i could not get any help so i just returned it luckly person was nice to take it back cause my warranty expired on it.

For those of you on t-mobile do you also get many telemarketers? If that's not the case with you then it must be Red Pocket doing that to me selling my number. It does not bother me but it will to some people but no one should do that selling your number. Tracfone doesn't do that but then it's a very low end company, the lowest service you can get likely.

I don't get any, but I've had T-Mobile for close to 8 years on the same line. Maybe newer released number blocks have more issues.

My phone number is at least 16 years old. In an unrelated matter my pop still has our old house number magic jacked and between me and my sister both of whom wish and desire to eventually acquire said phone number the leg up in may come down to who provides the first grandchild. In my drunken opinion.
