Double Gold Good Trader Global Trader - willing to trade internationally
16-Jun(#1)
It's that time of the year again. I'll be at Anime Expo and San Diego Comic Con this year. I'll be taking item requests again. I'll most likely be carrying the items around all day (unless they're big or fragile items, then I'll have to drop them off at my hotel), so there's a service fee as follows:

Small/light items: $4 each
Middle size/weight items: $7 each
Big/heavy items: $9-15 each, depending on item
Funko items: $35 each - Still debating whether I want to camp out for this. It's up to my friend if she wants to.
Hasbro, Mattel items: $35 each - I won't be camping out for these lines this year. Too stressful and time consuming. It's unlikely that I'll be able to get the hot items that sell out quickly. If it's like previous years, I'm only able to get in line near the end of the day and purchase whatever they have left. Send offers anyway if you're interested and I'll try to get them if I can. Magic exclusives from Hasbro are always taken, so it won't be available.
*$10 increase on all items if you're putting in a request during the con (July 19-24)
*Price may increase for the small/medium/big tiers if the booth is too busy with long lines. I've already included the time it takes in the costs for Hasbro, Mattel, and Funko

Total costs paid by you = The total cost of item(s) + Service Fee + Shipping Costs + PayPal fee (if applicable). Payment can be collected after item is obtained, but I'd prefer payment before the con so I have the money to pay for it. If the item price is high or if I have a lot of requests, then a trade needs to be pended and I'll need to receive payment before the con to pay for stuff. Of course, if an item isn't obtained, a full refund will be given and trade will be cancelled.

The size and weight of an item is subjective, but the fee tier will be chosen by me and is final. If you need to know the fee of an item before the con starts, I can let you know the fee charge if you let me know what the item is or can provide a picture of the item. But if an item ends up being drastically different in-hand, then it's possible that I'd have to bump up the fee to the next tier. Estimates for shipping can also be given beforehand.

Examples of items and their fees
Small/light items: CDs/DVDs, small/light books such as comics/manga, small figures such as blind box figures, cards, apparel & jewelry
Middle size/weight items: figures, boxed collectibles, small/regular-sized posters/wallscrolls
Big/heavy items: Big boxed collectibles, big sized posters

I don't generally do autographs. It would take up too much of my con time. But there can be some exceptions, such as if it'll be easy to obtain and if it'll be a quick line. Depending on the situation, the fee will be high, possibly the same as the Hasbro/Mattel fee.

If interested in getting something at the con, let me know the exact item, its price, and the booth where it's located, especially if it's an exclusive so I can get it first thing in the morning. I usually sell any free swag and promos given to me, so this service is generally for items that need to be purchased from a booth.

Probably not, at least for the hot popular stuff. I've tried Bandai several times before and never had any luck getting their stuff. They've always sold out by the time I get there. I'll try though, but just as much as I'll try Hasbro, which is very little. The hot items will most likely be sold out by the time I try that line.

SirConnery wrote:

Maybe, if he's doing any new work he needs to promote. You should check any of his official or social media stuff to see.

I don't keep track of what'll be there. It's a big con with hundreds of exclusives. You'll have to find out if they'll have anything at the con for that stuff and notify me with specifics if you need me to purchase anything for you

Yeah. I camped out overnight each day and slept in line around 1AM last year. I wasn't able to get a Funko ticket until the third day. There's a lot of chaos and cutting on opening, especially the first few days when staff aren't on point with handling the lines yet.

Sorry, I'm super broke right now and don't have any extra funds to buy other people's merch, so I'm requiring payment for the items ahead of time so I can pay for them. You'll have to look up all the details for the items since that's all I have.

If you want any of them, PM me and we can set up a trade.

That website isn't a general SDCC exclusives website. It only posts the UCC exclusives.

This blog breaks down what exclusives will be at the con, company-by-company:
http://sdccblog.com/tag/exclusives/

I'm only willing to pay for the Saga action figure 2-pack of The Will & Lying Cat.

Though there is a Saga Gus plush that I'd love -_- Had to go the collection route though, as I got the Alana & Marko 2 pack from SDCC last year (again thanks to conkwe).

If you or anyone reading this thread is hitting Bandai, would love the Goku figure:

http://awesometoyblog.com/2017/06/28/bandai-americ...

If you hit Mattel and are willing to come down to your $5 fee for small items, I'd like the hot wheels spider mobile and the deadpool one as well. I dont know what lines are like and such, but if you stop when there is no line or whatever and they have some left, etc. Dont want to pay $35 fee for a $15 item lol.

There's two lines at the beginning of the day outside the convention center, the Hall H line (biggest panel room) and the everything else line. Everyone wanting to get inside the convention center lines up in that everything else line. People always camp out even the night before just to be early enough in line. Once we're in, it's gets chaotic. People rush to the lines they're going for, whether it's for autograph tickets or booth tickets, etc. The booth tickets distributed are basically a timed slot allowing you to enter the line for the booth on the exhibit floor. You can't enter the booth line without a ticket, not even earlier than the time slot on your ticket, unless there's no line and that only happens near the end of the day when all the hot items have sold out for that day.

Sure, we can do the small item fee if I can just walk in line near the end of the day. There's usually no line by then since all the hot items have sold out. Keep in mind though that it's possible they'll sell out. If that's fine with you, let me know and I'll set up the trade.

I am fine paying cost + $4 + shipping for one or both (if possible) of the spider man/deadpool hot wheels cars and the Goku figure. If you want to set a trade up thats fine, or just sign me up for those and if you get them we can set it all up then.

I don't know about the hot wheels, but it'll be very unlikely that I can get you the Goku figure. That'll be a hot item and will most likely sell out for each day. I'll see if I can get it though. If I do, it'll be a $7 service fee for that one. I'll send you an offer soon.

I checked his Facebook page and the John Barrowman times/places are:

Thursday, July 20
11:00AM Anything Goes Panel - Indigo Ballroom
1:15PM-2:15PM Sci-Fi Debate Panel - Ballroom 20
2:30PM-4:30PM Sails Pavilion Autograph Area Table 25

Saturday, July 22
2:00PM-3:30PM Sails Pavillion Autograph Area Table 20
6:15PM-7:30PM Legendary/Cursed Panel - Room 7AB

I'm expecting autograph lines would be super packed though. If you happen to see an opening, I'd pay the Mattel fee for a signed photo. yes

Holy Crap, The Will & Lying Cat? That. Is. Awesome.

How much did the Alana & Marko set run you last year?

That Will and cat set would be awesome.

@Sid_Ceaser I think it was the same, $50 + s/h and the conkwe fee.

Kind of appalled at the price for these figures (not the fee, conkwe is very fair) but I'm a Saga nut and love obscure figures. Plus the Alana+Marko set goes for no less than $60 (seen them sell for $80) nowadays, and I imagine the value will only rise for a while as these get older/Saga gets more popular (it will) considering they're SDCC exclusives. Not that I'm even entertaining the idea of selling them at the moment. That being said, I'm hating my budget this week because that Gus plush (3 different outfits!) is a must-have for me.

But yah the Will is my absolute favorite character from Saga and I marked out when I saw him in a 2 pack with Lying Cat. Harkens back to the early going of the series. Just hope the con doesn't sell out before she gets to snag them.

Forgot you were also a Saga fan!!

I am.

I'm eyeballing an open set of Marko and Alana on eBay. But I LOVE Lying Cat, and this set is great. I might wait in the hopes that an open set shows up at some point. I've already got a wall of figures hanging on my studio wall, so lord knows I don't need any more. But ... but ... Lying Cat! So good.
