Sometimes I wonder if you guys are getting ready to close up shop and become either online only or a rented corner of Best Buy. If you were in liquidation mode we'd never know because you have weird sales all the time. Elimination of whole product lines raises suspicion though. If you all of a sudden only sold current gen new/used games, systems, Think Geek plushies and that was it, I'd wonder if it was the beginning of the end.
When I was at a local GameStop last week they had huge bins of these discounted items but back then they were regular price. I saw 25 new Tom Nook's. Couldn't see much else as they had burnt out light bulbs in the ceiling and I didn't feel like using my cellphone light.
None of the Gamestops in Indy ever have used Amiibos. They have tons of Skylanders and some of the crappier Disney figures. Of course, some of the mom & pop video game stores around here sell older used Skylanders for 25-50 cents each now, so even at $1, some probably won't sell.
I have picked up a few brand new Skylanders on clearance last year at Gamestop in the $1-2 range.
