I can't stand Panda Express, I need to know what time to get there where anything but their white rice doesn't taste, look and feel like it's been under a heat lamp for six hours. I usually say fudge it and walk 30 minutes out of my way to pick up some Maki of Japan instead.

AND WHY DO THEIR CREAM CHEESE RANGOONS TASTE LIKE NOTHING? So confused! Like, there's precisely two establishments of Asian persuasion that I've ever literally wanted to un-eat... one was a strip mall joint that tasted like their shrimp and chicken had turned before deep frying. And the other is about 7/10 of my stops at Panda Express.

(If you like it, I'm secretly jealous. I can't do it. Time's gotta be tight and options slim for me to head into a PE)

my son loves it, if we are taking dinner home he will choose that almost every time. it has to be really fresh and hot for me, the last time we went was the best panda ive ever had, I was like omg why isn't it like this all the time, this place could be huge If it was always like this, I guess we hit it at a good time, it was crazy good. our panda is situated right next to sonic, dairy queen, burger king, mcd's (vomit), Whataburger (angels sing), braums, jack in the box, wendys, taco ball (if I hate my butthole that day), long john silvers, and a chicken express and subway right down the way, along with a local BBQ joint. so even when he wants it I usualy get something else. that day I was like not going to multiple places, will just get something here, the orange chicken was fresh, the honey walnut shrimp was amazing, the rice was hot.. I was like this is the formula people.

Mmm, I haven't had Sonic in years and years. frown

A couple of times I've had PE it's been okay, so I know it's just a matter of getting fresh food versus very old food, more than likely. But even when it's good it's just kinda good. Whereas stuff like Maki it varies between the best teriyaki chicken ever since the last time I bought teriyaki chicken, and very good. Actually reminds me, I should try out their shrimp next visit.

I think this Thai I've had the past couple weeks, delicious as it's been, has eaten a hole in my intestines, so sadly I have to stop that or die. Too chicken to actually set up an appointment with a doctor to get that investigated, figure they'll tell me I'm prediabetic or worse while they're at it and I would rather die than hear that.

that how our long john silvers is, if its fresh its actually not bad, but if its old its one of the worst things you can eat, ugh.

sonic is a staple around here, 1/2 price burgers every Tuesday night, its been an institution in my family for 30 years on Tuesday nights, grandma fries up a huge batch of fries, better than any you'd get at fast food, except maybe chick fil a's waffle fries would be a contender, and we all chow down at mema's Tuesday nights. we are lucky to have a good one, others ive been too aren't as consistent.

panda is the only "fast food" Asian we have, we have a couple of Chinese restaurants but they are actual go into the place and eat the buffet, I guess you could load up a to go box I see people do that, but its not "fast food" Asian. our panda is only a year or two old also

ya I hear you, I have a friend who is badly diabetic, like has to wear the pump thing and its hard on her at times, papa is as well and having trouble as hes getting into his mid 70s.
