I saw this at cheapassgamer just awhile ago. I was thinking about get 3 10$psn cards but I cannot pick them up in store in my area since they are all out and the next ones are available in the next state over. I would get 3 10$ eshop credit but don't need em right now unless somebody is interested in trading with me for them for psn credit.
@DCGX basically you're getting $60 for $30. If the 3 $10 vouchers you get can be used on eShop or PSN, you're basically saving 50%, but you have to wait to receive the voucher to realize this.
So you buy something from BestBuy that is $10 or more. You keep that item. Later, BestBuy rewards you with an additional $10 voucher, which you can use to buy something else. You can do this 3 times according to the deal.
In the scenario of the original post, you are buying an eShop card for $10. That is an equal amount. You do this 3 times, spending $30. You pick up your 3 eShop cards from your local BestBuy. Later, you receive 3 $10 vouchers (in your email probably) that you can use towards another purchase, more eShop cards in this case. So, you have spent $30 out of your pocket and received $60 in eShop cards in return.
BB should put more details on this offer. No confirmation if you buy something more than 10$ to let you know if you will get the email code next month.
Thanks for sharing, grabbed $20 PSN over two sales.
So this works with movies, music and games if I use in-store pickup? Under 'ship to store' it says it doesn't work on games, movies, or music. But I'm not sure if that means the deal won't work on those items, or the 'ship to store' doesn't work on those items.
You have to pick up for it to work
Well I placed my orders, so hopefully this works. The cheapest PSN code available was $20, so my three totals were $20, $17 and $33. This was great in theory, but at my nearest Best Buy, everything I wanted wasn't available. So I literally did have to 'settle' for my three orders.
I was able to get 3 10$ psn credit for store pick up but it will be available for pick up on 12/20 and that is after the offer expires which is this Saturday on 12/16. I wonder does the offer still apply if the item is not available for pickup before the offer expires?
