So, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can get this for $20:Amazon Dash Wand with Alexa
...and then, once you register it, you get a $20 Amazon credit. So, basically free after credit.
It's basically a cheap Alexa device that won't play music and such. The idea is that you put it in your kitchen or something.
Amazon wants you to use it to order things as they get low, but basically all of the reviews suck for that.
Instead, it's a handy little device to have to add items to your shopping list, todo list, and so on.
Basically, if you use it like that, everyone likes it. If you use it for what Amazon intended (putting crap straight into your cart that you speak or scan), then it sucks at that.
Mine just arrived today. Great for quickly updating my shopping list (that I just pull up on my phone when at the store -- not actually shopping through Amazon).
EDIT: It says Limited Time Offer, but with no end date. Make sure it still says "Purchase Dash Wand for $20 and get $20 off your next purchase after you register the device." before you purchase.
$20 credit, once registered, expires June 1, 2018.
