You had it for $100, would be received after Christmas, and closed the topic 6 days after opening it after having several inquiries. This is a small site and most people are looking to trade. It's not surprising. I'm talking about the masses, I've never seen one in a store and I'm at Target once a week, at the mall every couple of weeks, and last I checked no one online has any in stock. I don't doubt there's some out there, but Nintendo lied and has continuously.

I got in on this Amazon shipped deal at MSRP. Good thing too since I have never seen a NES or SNES classic in person, only exception being I saw a NES Classic at a resale shop once for $200.

lmao

I know some of you are finding them in stores - but let's call a spade a spade....Nintendo's "Don't pay more than retail! We'll keep them in stock!!!!" claim is still horsecrap. Many people can't find these anywhere. I purchased one at midnight in my local Walmart - and I haven't seen a SINGLE ONE for sale in ANY store since.

Plus, I know it's early 2018 right now, where is our NES Classic going back into production??? There is no way in hell they'll make enough of either one IMO.

I bought 3 for the site and my dad bought 2. Know how many NES Classics I saw in the wild? Fudging zero. Ever. Dad saw two, once, and kept one and mailed me the other. Just last weekend I walked into Best Buy and saw four sitting in the Nintendo section, not even in the case, just out. Nobody cared.

So yes, I'd say this has already been much, much better and buyable. Unless you're sitting in front of your computer chair hoping to beat a bunch of retarded Reddit jerks to the punch on the most popular e-commerce site in North America, in which case good fudging luck and your frustration is well-deserved. raspberry

Yup, in its entirety probably, and probably a good chunk of the SNES library too, since hakchi2 lets you compress ROMs now.

I've seen allot recent. I seen 4 in walmart 2 days ago. I was there today and I can only assume the same 4 are there, might be restock. I seen 2 at gamestop last week, 1 at best buy and 1 at TRU. Maybe my area just got a restock, not sure but they are much easier to find than the nes classic. I think I seen 1 total of those in the wild.

I also seen a few weeks back I think 8 at a different walmart.

I haven't hacked mine yet...did you have any doubts you were going to do this?

How many can be added before it's full? Is there sort of an official # being tossed around? I'm sure it depends on ROM size, right?
SirConnery
GameTZ Subscriber 1000 Trade Quintuple Gold Good Trader Secret Santa

Yeah, I never thought I'd own one of these period.

With rom compression you can install over a hundred more. Or with a $7 right angle micro USB adapter (splits power jack to usb and power) you can put practically infinite games with a usb flash drive. Games from other systems too.

I'm still deciding how far I want to take it.

Side note - for the first time since I've owned the SNES Classic, I gave the ol' Wii emulators a try with one of the SNES Classic controllers.

I must say, HOLY SHEEEEEET these are awesome. I previously used the Wii classic controllers (old white versions, not the pro with the handles) and they were ok. They kinda felt like SNES controllers, and still worked pretty nice for Genesis and SNES...but the buttons are a little mushy, and there are extra buttons on it that sorta get in the way.

But wow, the SNES Classic controllers on the Wii for SNES/NES/Genny emulators is out of this world. I'm playing it on a 75" Sony 4K LED HDR TV - and I am experiencing almost ZERO lag. My go-to test game is Contra on the NES - I've beaten this game about 100 times (once in a while without dying). If there is ANY lag when I play this, it throws everything off and I notice it instantly.

I made it all the way to level 7 before losing a life.

These controllers are fantastic yes

having trouble finding the right angle USB with passthrough for the USB media rom storage, I'm interested in that route. Usually I just fill the internal memory but theoretically endless USB storage's very interesting to me.

Almost bought a left angle accidentally, that wouldn't have worked out well for me.
