The only thing I remember being News was the judge. I think he was American but Trump called him Mexican. That's probably why folks think he sees it as a race as well.

It was retarded because Trump wasn't referring to Mexico, he's referring to Mexicans. Hispanics. Correct?

What the hell does that mean. Mexican means citizen of Mexico.

@Dustin Also, is this about the ACA? Because frankly this was your best possible option to get people who weren't paying their bills and were driving up your costs for healthcare and insurance to finally start pitching in and doing their fair share.

Was, because now there's no individual mandate, so people will be leaving the health care markets again. But I'm curious if this was it or if it was something else.

It's fudging stupid. I'm not a fan of either political party on the healthcare. They want to let the insurance industry bully the crap out of us. ACA would only ever work if it was illegal for the industry to dog out when they had to pay for something. Someone has to get tough on them and do not force us to buy their crap either.

I'm cool with that.

First repeal Obamacare, then have a serious discussion about how to fix the system, and remove all these big pharma pills that the industry uses to rape us.

Did you think your rates went up because OH NO, everyone's insured now? That's idiotic, the only POSSIBLE outcome in a vaccuum would be that your rates would go down, significantly over time, because that's what happens when everyone who used to ditch their bills starts paying into the system; insurance companies make money because most people AREN'T sick most of the time. The reason your rates took a hike was because these smaller shell insurance companies held by the big guys were selling junk insurance, taking that money and giving the policy buyers absolutely nothing when it came time to pay out. In essence, everyone with "golden" rates were being subsidized by everyone buying crap policies these guys were handing out. The ACA brought them to an end, insurance companies jerked up your rates so that they didn't see an immediate effect on their profits and that brings you to where you are today. I'm sure junk policies will be out on the markets in quick order under this administration and you can continue to enjoy quality health care at value rates once they start raping the wallets of the ignorant once again. Or not, it'd be smarter for them to jerk up your rates yet again because "It's complicated".
longhornsk57
GameTZ Subscriber Double Gold Good Trader Global Trader - willing to trade internationally
2-Dec(#35)
That's just not how it works.

That idiotic bill that no one read increased the fudge out of rates, made you buy crap you didn't need, and covered crap that should NEVER be covered.

OK so let's cover destructive psyche pills, and then label everyone with a disorder. Now force everyone to be "covered" and expect the insurance companies not to raise rates.

Yes the insurance companies, pharma, and the gov all fudgeed us over because of the worst bill ever that none of those pieces of crap in government read.

But again, compulsory isn't the way I would have gone. I have several issues with the ACA, especially how it was passed. There are countries that get this WAY better than we do, health care is way too fudging expensive and out of control in this country. WAY WAY fudgeed up. You shouldn't HAVE to have insurance to be able to afford being sick or getting injured. An injury should not financially ruin you.

1. The FBI is autonomous from the executive branch, they take their marching orders from the acting director, who is usually NOT supposed to be in bed with the President. All the President does is make sure the position is filled. Comey himself said that meeting with the President was highly irregular.
2. Trump himself has attempted to court the FBI to, paraphrasing "let investigations go" as you are well aware of, and has tweeted publicly where the FBI should be focusing investigations.

I would disagree here. If the FBI were autonomous then they wouldn't have downgraded Hillary from "grossly negligent" which would have been prosecuted to "extremely careless" and decided not to pursue the matter.

The fact is the FBI has proven to be extremely partisan. This cat who was cheating on wife who worked at the FBI who was texting a bunch of anti-trump stuff and was a devout Hillary supporter apparently was running a big part of the show and even interviewed her for the email thing, and was also part of the clown Mueller's team investigating Trump. It's apparent that the FBI has been an embarrassment and politicizing things. So as President Hillary could have urged Comey to do whatever she actually wanted.

Don't forget that Nixon used the CIA and FBI to investigate political figures and activist groups as well, there is precedent. Not to mention the IRS (supposedly autonomous right?) targeting conservative groups because Lois Lerner was a devout Hillary person (part of the Clinton mafia maybe).

So while the tweet was technically not per how the government branches are technically laid out, the FBI would have basically been a de facto arm of the executive branch it seems. This is the same Comey who was purposefully leaking information to the press we're talking about, what an embarrassment.

Yes, Trump should have never even been talking to him or any of them, you have good point there.

Any action is politicized with the correct glasses, you cannot action something and not see it as political. One way it swings left, another it swings right. The point being it shouldn't be a thing, Trump's demonstrated firsthand that it potentially is anyways, the misdirect is the nonexistant "what-if" scenario, completely theoretical and detached from the reality that Trump IS actively trying to exert pressure on the FBI.

Who cares about what-ifs? I mean, I know SOME people only care about what-ifs while ignoring what's going on right in front of them, but that's queer behavior to me. I get that crap went down that shouldn't have in the past, but let's snap our fingers and focus on the now, not the then and the alternate timelines. I'm not a fan of misdirection.

The point is that Clinton was able to escape being prosecuted for an actual crime she committed, and the director admitted she committed, then downgraded the wording and recommended she not be prosecuted. That is real, not a what if.

Literally all Trump ever did was suggest off hand that someone he'd already fired for lying be left alone, and that was it.

Neither one should have happened, but the Hillary thing is much much worse.

This is the same guy who right before the elections basically put up a huge "stop" sign and said he was re-interviewing people to investigate this. You can't honestly tell me for one second if he was a Hillary/DNC camper that he'd pull that sort of crap. That makes no sense. He probably negatively influenced her chances at getting elected.

Is it possible that the evidence didn't lend itself to prosecution? Like, remote possibility?

Absolutely not.

"To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."

And keep reading. What was he deciding? Was that within the scope of his current investigation?

It was just him saying Hilary is above the law while if anyone else did the exact same thing they'd be in deep crap.

I don't think that's what he said. It sounds like he was deciding to what degree she was negligent, not saying she didn't fudge up. It's the same sort of difference between degrees of murder.

In Ninesalones defense, the FBI has been politicized since long before recently. Although, Stefan Molyneux has conveniently forgotten who J. Edgar Hoover was.

To Longhorn, your statement is not accurate what Trump literally did was ask the FBI Director to let Flynn go.

We must remember that the Justice Department acts independently of the Executive Branch. Trump wants, and he is not the first person whos done this, is the Justice Department to work in his interests. Thats not how its supposed to be. One thing Hoover was really good at beside cross dressing and being a paranoid anti communist was letting Presidents know that the FBI was his crap and he didn't work for them.

No matter who is in office Clinton or Trump we want these folks to not comment on the FBI, court cases, because it displays bias.

For example, Trumps comments on Bergdahl are part of the reason Bergdahl is not rotting in military prison. His firing of FBI director and than his Tweets are all potentially going to cause problems for him.

Trump has also been personally been interviewing candidates for Federal Attorney positions in New Yorks southern district. Thats not something the President does. He is trying to protect his interests in that state.

It should trouble you that Trump keeps digging his tiny fingers into the Justice Department pot.

My statement was accurate from everything I have seen, it was an offhand remark, not some official proclamation.

Also, the amount that the clintons and obama have dug in. Loretta Lynch on the tarmac, this Comey BS, I mean anything Trump has done (and you have to dig deep to come up with peanuts) the previous administration has done worse by orders of magnitude.

This not some noble cause to try to keep it all clean, this is more anti-trump witch hunt. The entire Russia "investigation" is embarrassing for Mueller and the FBI, the entire thing was a giant waste and he is getting nothing out of it, of course at taxpayer expense.

I am not saying Trump is blameless, and he plays these stupid games instead of just moving on as well, but this farce that people are trying to keep honesty in and just keep justice in and all this bullcrap is laughable, people are still just trying to overturn the election, and that's all this is about.

I'm not trying to overturn the election. Trump's an butt-hole and he does crap he shouldn't. That's as far as I'm going. If there's a question, you investigate. They had a question and enough evidence to move forward. So be it. They'd know better than any of us, nobody here's a legal professional, and nobody here is actually informed as to what they've found and how, it's all hearsay. So instead of stomping your feet and throwing a fit like Trump is, how about you just wait until the investigation's concluded before digging in?

This always cracks me up. The mere fact that people are looking into it is some sort of attack. If nothing comes up, you get to say "I told you so". Like, you don't even KNOW that nothing's been found. It's all literally guesses on both sides of the fence, so taking the moral high ground for "knowing what's up" is a stupid thing to do, you and "anti-Trump" kids. It's not the fudging Spanish Inquisition, calm down and wait for the investigation to wrap up. And understand that if [exaggeration] HALF of Trump's cabinet hadn't mysteriously gotten Alzheimers regarding half a dozen meetings with Russian officials leading up to the election with Trump waving wandering eyes everywhere but himself, I think there would have been a significantly lower amount of cocked eyebrows about the whole fudging thing.

[Misdirection/Jokes] If you're so worried about expenses, how about you take away Trump's golf clubs and lock down Air Force One? Should free up a lot of money.

I think the left right paradigm is a false dichotomy. On one point it's ridiculous to clump all political thought at two "poles." Another is that the media is too excepting of the dichotomy. The dichotomy also near insures and ensures that two parties will perpetually share power.

They're tricking us.

Good video, but wrong question I think. "Do you really know what fascism is" would be the appropriate question (I misunderstood it!), similar to "Do you really know what a communist is".

And something else to keep in mind, not all regulation is inherently evil, nor necessarily fascist. Going off on a short tangent, The idea of a free and open internet without roadblocks or paywalls, without stifling the exchange of ideas and data is something that benefits everyone but the corporations who now have a monopoly on it. If they had their way, the Internet would be significantly less useful unless you paid them significantly more for the things they market you to want (as well as the things they have business reasons to NOT want you to want), which keeps the best access to information and commerce a luxury afforded only to those who pay the most. Ajit Pai would call this "stifling innovation", when in reality it's preventing predatory business practices for what has become almost inseparably a vitally important part of everyone's lives today. The ISPs/Data carriers have said themselves that Net Neutrality existing or not existing has zero effect on their investment strategies, because the game plan has always been "buy out the competition until you're the only one running the show". They only supply fiber when one of the other 2-3 players start supplying fiber, they only upgrade their networks during catastrophic network failures. Your monthly payments are already not being used for network upkeep or improvement.

Creating products where there is no need isn't innovation. Ensuring as many people as possible have equal access to all of it shouldn't be a partisan issue, and it's certainly not red vs blue. It's corporate interests interfering with open exchange of information. And if the government has to interject on our behalf because they have power that I as a consumer with limited choices do not... well, I'm glad someone's looking out for the little guys getting fudgeed over by money hungry corporate toadies.
