Summary

Silver Side Up is one of Nickelback's earlier CD's, and by far one of their best!

Description

Silver Side Up --- This is one of Nickelback's earlier albums, but I believe it to be one of the best as well!

What I respect the most about some of the songs on this CD is that the boys have "balls" enough to tackle some really important subject matter in their songs.

For example, the first track, "Never Again", is about physical abuse, and I warn you now, they hold nothing back when they sing about this, but it is one of the better songs on this CD.
Another example is the song, "Too Bad", which tackles the subject of just trying to survive.

The band consists of Chad Kroeger (Lead Vocals & Guitars), Ryan Peake (Guitars & Vocals), Mike Kroeger (Bass), and Ryan "Nik" Vikedal (Drums). And yes, Chad and Mike are brothers, which in the past has made for a stronger band, and I think that certainly applies here.

Nickelback's sound is "Rock" in the purest form, absolute shake your butt off "Rock".

I look forward to many more CD's from this outstanding group, and hope to someday see them LIVE!
