Summary

A fun puzzle game where you shoot bubbles to clear lines, completing the level when all bubbles are cleared.

Description

Bust-A-Move Deulxe for the PSP is a very fun game. The point of this puzzler is to clear all the bubbles off the screen, as bubble groups are cleared off when you shoot like-colored groups. While the game seems extremely easy at first, don't worry, it quickly becomes an up-hill battle to advance in the ranks. As you shoot the colored bubbles, they stick to the other colors and, provided you don't clear any lines, the bubbles will drop down one line. Once the bubbles drop past the warning line your game will be over.

No need to get angry and break your PSP, 'cause you can continue on that level as many times as you like. As you progress in the game, you can always continue from the point where you died or you can pick a previous level that you completed to try to get some extra practice. While the sound is a bit cheesy it does provide a good warning system of when the bubbles will drop a level.

As you progress, it may seem repetitive as the only things changing much are the colors and arrangment of the bubbles. The basic frame will remain the same just as will the background. Also there is practically no replay value once you beat all 400 levels. Sure, they will all be unlocked but there will be no more incentive to get to the next level. There are no alternate endings in this one, so if you want action, you will just have to try and beat your high score or challenge a friend.

This is a game that is fun for all ages and genders. Currently this is my wife's favorite game, and she doesn't like very many. So if you have a picky wife, this may be the one for her. The game has a very short learning curve and has a good level of difficulty while not being too easy.
