Description
Since the band started recording their first album in 1982, Bon Jovi's main focus was on the Rock genre. For 23 years, Bon Jovi focused their efforts on the rock songs that have made them on of the biggest names of rock, that is until they released a song in a genre completely different from what they've always done, Country. When their first country song, "Who Says You Can't Go Home" (off the Have a Nice Day album) shot to the #1 spot in the U.S. Country Chart in May '06, they decided to feature an entire album dedicated to Country/Rock.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about an album of Bon Jovi's focusing mainly on country, but I was very surprised with how good it turned out. Even though they've nailed this particular genre, here's hoping that with their 11th album, they return to their roots with the rock songs that have made the famous.
In closing, if Country/Rock intrigues you, pick this one up. If you, however, don't seem interested or just don't like the Jersey band, I'd skip this one.
