Summary

Worth the wait for Breaking Benjamin fans

Description

Breaking Benjamin is back with their second cd "We are not alone." Their first cd "Saturate" came out in 2002 and featured some moderate hits with "Skin" and "Polyamorus." It was a solid cd. I heard them through a local radio station. They seemed like a band that could hit it big, but didn't. This new cd could be their big break. Breaking Benjamin is a 4 man metal band that has improved in songwriting and musicianship from their first cd. That's a good sign for any band.

On "We are not alone" the new single is "So Cold." It has the potential to be a big hit. It's a song about a relationship going sour/trying to save the relationship. Most of the cd's songs seem to be about relationships or friends stabbing each other in the back. The lyrics are quite meaningful and good. They have improved over the first cd. The chorus is also more harmonic. The first one didn't really have many harmonic chorus's, while "We are not alone" does. My only complaint about the new cd is that it's still kinda short like the first. It clocks in at around 40 something minutes.

"We are not alone" is a solid cd to pick up. It's under 10 dollars, even at big name chains that usually over price cd's like FYE. The first cd is still 10 dollars. I recommend checking them out.
