Summary

If you like G-Unit, then this is a must-have. Best southern rapper IMO. Straight outta cashville is a great album

Description

His first 2 singles "Let Me In" w/ 50 Cent and "Shorty Wanna Ride" shows that he can ride with the rest of the crew. These singles are very catchy, probably two of my favorite singles out since 50's "In da club" and "Wanksta." The first track "I'm a Soldier" with 50 Cent is just straight out hardcore. It's a great opening for a CD and the introduction of game in "Stomp" is another great song. Hot beat, hot flow. The rhymes and beat on this CD are great, one of the top releases of 2004.

The most surprising aspect of Buck is his ability to adapt and flow from songs that range from "Shorty Wanna Ride" and the heavy "Stomp". But yet he is able to slow down and tell his life on "Bang Bang" and "Look at Me Now" featuring Mr. Porter. G-Unit has been selling like hotcakes off the charts. They have been able to do that because they are very deep and with each member they used different artist, beat, and producers. This album has beats from 11 different producers. Trust me you will not be disappointed. It's one of the best I have heard in a long time.

1. I'm a Soldier (Featuring 50 Cent) - Hot beat, great opening for this CD. Buck and 50 Cent are hardcore in this song. 4/5

2. Do It Like Me - Decent song, Chorus is good. - 3.5/5

3. Let Me In (Featuring 50 Cent) - Catchy beat, Album's first single. 5/5

4. Look at Me Now (Featuring Mr. Porter aka Kon Artis) Buck has some hot verses, I believed porter produced the beat. 4/5

5. Welcome to the South (Featuring Lil' Flip & David Banner) - Buck once again, hot rhymes. But what happened to Flip and Banner. ?? 3.5/5

6. Prices on My Head (Featuring Lloyd Banks & D-Tay) - One of my favorite tracks in the CD. Nice flow by Banks. 5/5

7. Bonafide Hustler (Featuring 50 Cent & Tony Yayo) - Slow Chorus. 3.5/5

8. Short Wanna Ride - The Albums second single, Great beat, very catchy song. Another one of my favorites. 5/5

9. Bang Bang - They took the beat from Kill Bill, not really liking this song. 2/5

10. Thou Shall - Good Chorus. - 3.5/5

11. Black Gloves - Buck comes out hard. 3.5/5

12. Stomp (Featuring The Game & Ludacris) - Beat is Hardcore. This is the first song i heard from game. Great verses from Buck, Game, and Ludacris. Underrated Song, One of buck's finest !! 5/5

13. Taking Hits (Featuring D-Tay) - Good beat, good chorus. 4/5

14. Walk With Me (Featuring Stat Quo) - Quo shoe's off his talent. 4.5/5

15. DPG-Unit [Bonus Track] (Featuring 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, & Soopafly) - DPG to G-Unit ? great outro. 4.5/5
