You can search for users by location (state), eg https://gametz.com/?A=Users&bycountry=479&bystate=... It shows the city if provided by user. From there, you could check their available lists.

I think if you came at it from the item pages, you'd be much less likely to find stuff. We just don't have enough active users for local trading to be especially viable. Even at GTZ's peak, it wasn't to be honest. There may be apps that are better at this sort of thing.

GTZ is great for connecting with people who are up for shipping items. For local stuff, you might want to try Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp.

Maybe look into PirateShip.com for shipping. It's way cheaper than going to the post office. They even have UPS, which is cheap for shipping heavy things.
