Also hoping RightStuf will carry it. May reach out to them and ask about it.

Given that Viz is the publisher, I fully expect RightStuf to carry it. They'll prolly add it with the next batch of Viz titles.

What would be the benefit of ordering from RightStuf? Never heard of them before.

Not supporting a trash company mostly. It's possible it would be cheaper. Amazon quit really competing on anime pre-order prices. I moved all my anime pre-orders to Rightstuf last year for those reasons plus the fact that they always ship in a box AND you don't get reseals which often happens from Amazon. Some dented steelbooks from Amazon was the last straw for me personally.

The only downside is that it doesn't support TZ though I have joked that @bill should sign up for their affiliate program (probably not worth it tbh) since I've spent $1100 since moving over since last October.

It almost certainly would be cheaper, at least compared to the current Amazon price. RightStuf typically has everyday pricing on Viz stuff (and other things like all the video game artbooks Udon releases) at 25% off, plus does sales often enough that would make things even cheaper. I did start a thread in site feedback about an affiliate program, since, after all, it does cost nothing to join. It won't generate as much as Amazon (due to the more specialized nature of the site), but they do give better returns on most things, too...

I'm hoping many retailers will carry Ask Iwata, TBH. I want this book to do great, because it's not just about games. It's a little peek into the heart of one of my favorite people from the perspective of some of his favorite people. Mr. Iwata had a kind nature and strong love of learning. His philosophy led to some remarkable things from HAL and Nintendo over the years.

I know I'm a massive fangirl, but I believe reading Ask Iwata will be a good experience as a look into the human element of the games industry.
