I am checking out the $9.99 and less PS1 and DC titles on Gamestop.com - not gonna lie, there's some nice stuff! With the 4 for $20 sale going on right now, and Elite Pro membership - these games come to $4 a piece.

Titles like Resident Evil 1, Chrono Trigger, Soul Calibur etc....I was thinking about grabbing a few.

Anyone have experience with this? Is it even worth taking a shot? I would almost expect NONE to come CIB (or with any other pieces TBH...)

I've made a handful of orders and it was about 40% for retro stuff, 50% for modern stuff. The expensive titles are probably more likely to be returned when disc only, so might have a higher percentage of disc only ones in stock.

I ordered like 100 Wii games during their latest 4-for-10 sale and returning half of them was such so frustrating, I'm out on playing the Gamestop lottery. You have to have the packing slip, and they all ship from different stores. It takes them time to enter each packing slip individually and basically turns into a half hour of a dozen nerdy teenagers glaring at you in the store if you're trying to return 20 games.

lmao a negative 10% chance of getting them CIB?

I have about 50 PS3 titles in my cart on Gamestop.com....totally around $200. All nice games too. But I might now play the "Gamestop lottery" either wry smile Sounds very frustrating.

Sad, because most of these games can't be found in the stores anymore, even though they're not really sought after titles. They just aren't there!

My local GS stores have absolutely nothing. It's all multiplayer shooters of yesteryear and disc only games frown I'd love if buying from Gamestop.com wasn't the worst.

Mine thankfully are still holding on to PS3 and 360 for now. Many of the leftover PS3 titles are $17.99 or higher too. Some good stuff. Their $10 or less rack is huge, but like you said - it has too many shooters and stuff. I found a few good titles yesterday (Jurassic The Hunted, Shadows of the Damned) for $4 each though with the sale.

Yeah the amount of $17.99+ games from years and years ago is nuts. I used to walk into GS and get games like MGS2 and Metroid Prime for less than 5 bucks. Not lots of deals on good old stuff anymore.
