GungHo's Twitter account they said there were no plans for physical, but that months ago so who knows if those plans have changed. I would love a physical copy and if its digital only then it dampens my excitement a bit.

i loved that game SO much, falcom is so good. if not for Persona 5 and Nier Automata in 2017 TX would have been my personal GOTY. there were times real warmth and great humor came from it and times i was genuinely and truly upset. it was a really awesome experience. and ya i loved the setting as well, its based on a real Japanese town but its not actually called moriyama. seeing the pics of the streets looks a lot like the game in spots. i recommend it to everyone who liked persona
Octopath is a really good game. Great battle system, great characters, and a really special soundtrack. It has its issues, but it's definitely worth playing. Maybe just give it another shot at a later date. That happens to me sometimes. I start something and it just doesn't really click so I shelf it and come back to it later. Happened recently with MGS V. It clicked on my third try and then I was obsessed with it for like a month.
Looks like Switch owners are supporting the hell out of smaller games. It was announced today that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom sold 8 times more on Switch than Xbox One and PS4 combined. Thats some impressive stuff.

I already have no interest in the NES stuff as it is. I dislike the "drip feed" method they keep using since the Wii era of Virtual Console (but it's worse now since it's monthly instead of weekly). But even if I did I would find it hard to be excited about Blaster Master since the Switch launched with a HD remake of it.
Yoshi's Crafted World is kinda weird, it can already be pre-loaded from the Japanese eShop. That would probably irk me just a little bit to see an icon for a fully completed and paid for game on my Switch home menu knowing that I can't play it for 3 more months.
If the whole selling point of NES Online is to play online, why not, I don't know, release at least one multiplayer NES game each month? Contra please. At least give me Mario 2 if your going single player.
Not really excited for any dated Switch games. I'll probably get NSMBUDx when it goes cheap in a few years.
Yeah, still taking it with a grain of salt but that would be a crazy holiday season for sure. Still need that MP Trilogy to release first so people who've not caught up with the series have a chance to.
I think they'll give us more time to play through the game series. I predict that it will be announced whenever their next Tree house event is and will release shortly thereafter. I just hope there is a physical edition available too, because a really close release after announcement would probably mean digital only.
All though it may be a bit of a smaller game, they also got Daemon x Machina releasing this year too and so is Animal Crossing.
Nintendo is gearing up to have a crazy year if all those games launch in 2019. And to think, those aren't even all the games launching yet as they've probably not even announced everything they have in the pipelines. They still got E3.
Oh yeah that's right. I want to check out that Daemon x Machina game too. Looks cool. And I don't think Bayonetta 3 would be out this year too as it's looking pretty crammed as it is if all this transpires. I predict we will see Bayonetta 3 around Feb-March of 2020.
I never played Other M, if it ended up on the MP Trilogy as a bonus I wouldn't complain.
I think the LA game is supposed to be a remake I believe but don't quote me on that, it could be like what Samus Returns was. At this point its been so long since I've played it that either one would pretty much be the same thing to me.
Other M I tried guys. I really tried but the motion controls made it so damn awkward. It kinda needs the Switch treatment at this point to give it the recognition it deserves because from the first section of the game I could immediately tell it had potential up the butt.
I don't think Metroid will be this year.... Maybe the Trilogy. They need to save some stuff for 2020
Fire Emblem will be their spring title, Animal Crossing will be their Summer title, Luigis Mansion 3 their Fall title, and Pokemon the Winter/Holiday blockbuster
This is going to be a great year for RPGs on Switch though... All the Final Fantasies (7, 9, X, X-2, XII), Tales of Vesperia, Grandia 1+2 HD, Persona 5 Special edition (you know it's happening), DQXI S, and I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting

The motion controls are annoying as hell, the attempt at a story is laughable and all the crappy dialogue and the long-ass cutscenes are just hella annoying. BUT the combat is pretty solid and if I didn't think every Metroid game I've played is pretty much a masterpiece, maybe I would have been a little less critical. It's just tough to have played Prime games and a gem like Super Metroid and not be disappointed with Other M.
VR's pretty bad for FPSes from what I've seen. Everything's designed for teleportation movement, just a series of shooting galleries with little to no scene interaction to speak of. Until they solve the "I can't actually move anywhere" problem, it's always gonna be six notches below what it can and should be.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will probably be a late summer, early fall game. Although I wouldn't be shocked if it comes out late spring either. From the footage they showed it looked like it was well enough along in development.

I consider A Link Between Worlds to be a full blown sequel, and that's exactly the sort of thing I'm hoping they do with this rumored LA game. I would be far less excited about a straight remake, and only semi-interested in a re-imagining.
