Hopefully it sells well and they remake Second Evolution as well. Definitely grabbing it for the Switch at launch.

I need to try out Nioh 1, its $15 at amazon at the moment but I normally burn out on Souls style games after beating one so Itll probably be a while after I finish with Sekiro.
I understand the drain feeling. It does feel like a boss rush game since the areas leading to the bosses are rather short and easy (only because of stealth). The bosses kick my ass as well, easily 10+ times, mostly because Ive never been good at parrying in these type of games and in Sekiro you have to either parry or perfectly dodge everything which makes for very long fights. I like it though.
We are gonna see Norman Reedus jack off a shark's tooth in that teaser while Mads Mikalen shouts at his hand and preorder it when the video ends, aren't we?
Do we expect to get an announcement about the next Rocksteady game at E3? I heard about a possible late 2019 release of one, but I don't know if that was just unsubstantiated rumor.
> I still don't know what's going on with that game, but I feel like I just need it.
I honestly kinda feel the same way, but mainly because of Kojima and his track record. MGS V and PT are honestly two of the best things I've played this gen and they both have his fingerprints all over them. I just feel like Death Stranding will be my jam because everything he makes resonates with me. I don't really like the fact that we've had 3 years of pure hype and very little substance, but I've come to expect that from Kojima so I'm not too worried.
@TalonJedi87 That sounds about right lol

They must be ready to show something soon. They've been silent for so long. I don't really keep up with my gaming news outside of the stuff posted on Gematsu so I haven't read anything about a late 2019 release. That would be really sweet if true.

That's interesting. Dreams, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and TLoU Part II have all been in the oven for a while now. At least one of them has to come out this fall. I think Dreams will come out of early access sometime this fall, but it would be nice if one of the other three makes it out as well.

Yeah I didn't read up enough to see what the sources were, but I saw it in multiple articles. Hopefully it's not all pure bull.
Maybe it's me but Ghost of Tsushima looks bad. Maybe it'll get better.

How much of Nioh did you get through? It takes some getting used to and I remember not really liking it at first. I tried playing it like Bloodborne but that didn't work at all. It wasn't until the 10 or 15-hour mark during the beta that it really clicked for me. It was like a light bulb went off and it just felt right. I can't really describe it, but the same thing happened to me when I played Bloodborne. Once Nioh got its hooks in me, I was completely obsessed and it carried over into the main game. Played through all the DLC as well and must have spent at least 100 hours playing it. I really, really loved that game!
Ghosts just looks like a hack n slash with a ninja/Asian theme. The recent gameplay video showed nothing that didn't make me think it's a hack n slash with stealth elements.
> Agree, nothing about the gameplay pops for me.
> @Heavyd814life I could always give it another go. I'm sure it's cheap now.
Yeah, you can find it for a really good price now. Try to get through the first two bosses. If it doesn't click at the point then it probably never will, but definitely give it another chance.
I did read that Sony was grooming Ghosts of Tshuinima as a GOTY contender, so it is unlikely we will see it before 2020. I think Sony's GOTY contender this year, if it still releases, will be TLoU2 for sure, although I would take Days Gone as a silver medal because I loved that game through and through despite all the backlash mediocrity it received in critic reviews.
In regards to Rocksteady, I really hope that rumored Suicide Squad game code named "Outlaws" is truly just a code name and it is really that Justice League or Superman game I've been yearning for. If anyone can get Superman right, and make a good Supes game, it's Rocksteady.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ghost of Tsushima is a cross gen title. Death Stranding as well. Heck I'm sure we'll even see a Last of Us 2 'Remaster' or 'Definitive' edition on PS5 in the next couple of years. Horizon Zero Dawn 2 would be a shocker if it's a launch title for PS5. I was thinking that would come out a year or so after PS5 launches. We shall see though. E3 is but 2 weeks away. I hope Sony does another direct type thing shortly after E3 ends.
Wasnt Ghost of Tsushima canceled?
> No. They just hired hire devs to help polish the game actually according to a bunch

Ughh. So stupid.
Last of Us 2 Canceled?
Multiple sources with knowledge of the video game industry have reported that the long-awaited sequel to Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed 2013 survival horror game could be canceled. Development has lasted years, and the budget is now well into the millions. The publisher could holding off the announcement until after E3 to assuage investor and fan concerns. This is not unheard of. We've seen this before where a game far along into development is canceled. Just last year...blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
I said absolutely nothing there. Yet, that's all it would take to get a ton of views and have a bunch of lazy asswipes run with the story.
A November 2020 release date for Death Stranding *** haha
And Sony has announced their Days of Play just ahead of E3. Days Gone will be $20 folks and it is highly worth it. I loved this game despite lukewarm reviews. Goes to show ya that ya can't always rely on overly paid critics for game reviews sometimes.https://gematsu.com/2019/05/playstation-days-of-pl...

I just watched it on facebook. Death Stranding has caught my attention again. They mentioned a Collector's Edition but I didnt see any info.
Woooow! I cannot believe Death Stranding is actually coming out this year. I stand corrected. It looks like it has elements of MGSV in it. Hope it's as good as it is weird!
> death stranding is even more confusing now

This is exactly why I have no interest in it.

Hell yeah. Them doing a sci-fi game sounds amazing.
Didn't seem that weird. Kinda expecting an early game (first 30 minutes or so) big reveal not shown in trailers like in Assassin's Creed (the fact that the trailers didn't show you the Desmond Miles twist to the game). I wonder if Del Toro helped Kojima at all in this, definitely an influence at least.
Death Stranding trailer has me hyped up. No idea what the story line was but it looks interesting and engaging and I'm very excited. Get ready for 20 hours of cutscenes boys
I'm sure if Sony is releasing it the end of this year they have faith it will be GOTY material. Plus, it's from the crazed mind of Kojima. All of the top notch games come from weirdos. Look at Nier Automata. I have no idea what Death Stranding will be about, but my curiosity will get the better of me and I'll likely pick it up day 1 just to see what kind of hijinks and insanity will ensue and to also support Kojima-san since I've been with him and his games since MGS1. Even if it's a pile of crap, I'm sure it will be an entertaining pile of crap nevertheless! Kind of like watching The Room with Tommy Wiseau. Sure, it's a train wreck, but it is one I never want to look away from.
PlayStation Plus games for June
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
A much better month for the service, I own both on my Xbox One but that's still two solid quality offerings.
The Death Stranding trailer was definitely interesting, game play looked questionable but the cutscenes with some excellent actors looked great. I'm excited for that game because of Del Toro so I'll definitely be picking it up even though I haven't really ever gotten into a Kojima game.

Yeah a Baby in a Jar is just plain creepy as a statue. Ill pass. Its probably a good idea to get it though. Normally Kojima CEs are very limited.

the majima chapters of kiwami 2 lol
I need Judgment in my life! This is gonna be the best game I play all summer next to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. (if it doesn't suck)
Fingers-crossed the rumored Borderlands 2 dlc ("Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary" according to PlayStation Lifestyle) is real and dropping during E3 week.
Ugh, maybe Code Vein will be good, maybe not. The Anime style is unappealing to me.
Same here. Installing it now. Hope it is as good as it looks.
I watched a video of Code Vein a few weeks ago and the movements didnt look smooth at all. Love the visual style but it looks like it plays clunky.

Try to refrain from wearing your glasses while playing VR if you can. It will scratch your lenses. Can tell from experience. Luckily I kind of noticed it early enough that it wasn't too bad and for the most part I can play games like Beat Saber and Everybody's Golf without my glasses. For the games with more detail I just say "eff it lenses" and wear my glasses anyways.

Nice! Hopefully it grabs you this time.

I grabbed it.
Does anyone know if Code Vein will be a perpetually online "GaaS" bullcrap? If it is I really have no interest.

I can't see how it even could be. Its not the kind of game that would even work as one.
My 3 THQ Nordic game predictions will be:
1. Darksiders Genesis
2. Red Faction Evolution
3. Destroy All Humans 4 or Remastered Collection of the first 3 games
