Like I said, it could be my TV, it could be my Android box, or whatever.

It also doesn't really FEEL like an NES controller exactly. It's too fat....but the buttons feel pretty nice.

I've never tried it on a NES Classic though. Yours might be great on the SNES classic.

I own the FC30 for my NES Mini, and a SNES 30 for my SNES Mini. My FC30 is in rough shape, but it's always been functional.

The SNES30 is great though. Quality feels very close to the controller bundled with the SNES Mini, I haven't had any issues with input lag, and I can use the controller on Switch.

Of course, all of 8bitdo's Bluetooth controllers should work on either Mini console, or the Switch.

How is the mini boss? Less lag?

I heard the Mini Boss was laggy and not worth getting. Did they update it with a firmware update?

That's also the benefit of the 8bitdo controllers, they all (Bluetooth models anyway) have upgradable firmware.

That's how all their controllers got Switch support.

The Nyko Mini Boss hasn't given me any lag in comparison to the 8bitdo unless it's low on charge. Never had to do anything with it since opening it.

The 8bitdo has been hit/miss. Sometimes it syncs, sometimes not. Sometimes works flawlessly, sometimes lags periodically or the whole time. Could be a room set up, could be even more firmware configuration needed than I've already done with it. Maybe with the right cocktail of configurations and room setup it's a better controller, but I've been using the Mini Boss since the Spring with little to no problems.

So far mine is behaving itself. No lag that I can see in DKC or MMX.

I'd stick to that

SNES Wireless Fighting Commander Controller by Hori $24.99

Just because it's nintendo branded, and works on the nes classic too

It's Hori branded, not Nintendo. Plus the retro receiver works on both the NES Classic and SNES Classic raspberry

It looks awesome but that button layout is horrendous.

I got the Bluetooth recover by 8bitdo for my snes classic and actually I have mixed results I've only tried it with my switch and Wii u pro controllers. The Wii u pro controller had an issue where using the left analog stick would cause the system to think the dpad was always pressed right. The switch controller worked fine, allowing both analog and the d-pad to work fine to control the game.

I only played Secret of Mana, so I don't have any input lag feedback, but I am a bad candidate for giving feedback on that anyways.

I will report back after testing the Wii U Pro controller out but I have not had the chance yet to hook that up and rest my pro controller to see if it has issues or if the adapter is wonkey with it.

Fwiw it's a white jp pro controller, standard grey switch pro controller, and I plan on ordering the dual analog 4 trigger snes knockoff 8bitdo controller with a Amazon gift card I got for Christmas, and will report back on that later

Licensed by Nintendo, not made by them. Still a Hori branded product.

I got one at GameStop today. It was the last one. I mostly just wanted it for the novelty since my assumption in the button layout was correct (it's slightly awkward) but still not a bad controller at all. Also they're only $20 at GameStop if you can find one.

My 8bitdo wireless controller also came in the mail today and I'm very pleased with it. I haven't had any issues with lag or anything. If you're super duper picky the buttons are pretty "clicky" but other than that I think it's great and it looks nice too. I got the sfc version just 'cause pretty buttons. Haha

This 8bitdo snes 30 pro is frigging awesome.

So far I've only tried it on switch and my phone, but for those alone I am glad I own this thing, but soon I'll try it out on my PlayStation 4 and Super Nintendo Classic.

Switch - flawless IMO. Easy to pair, worked fantastic for Shovel Knight, Splatoon 2, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Android AT&T Samsung S8 Android Version 7.0 - A little less than fantastic. Worked great on the first few games I tried. Sonic CD was perfect and gave me a great first impression, maybe I'll actually play that now. Metal Slug, Blazing Star, R-Type, and Raiden Legacy all worked great as well. None of these need configuration, and after easily pairing the controller to my phone I was able to jump into those without any changes. Adventure of Mana also worked fine with it without any configuration - another game maybe I'll actually play now. I have a few more phone games I haven't tried, but I did try it with the PCE emulator, and had some mixed issues. With the controller very close to the phone I didn't notice any issues, but I had input lag the second I put my phone away from my controller (propped up by my computer monitor at my work desk). As expected, the controller required a bit of configuration on the emulator, so maybe I configured something wrong which made me hesitant to talk crap about its functionality on the pce emulator with android.

I'll post more after, but so far so good.

Never thought to pair it to my phone, but I am going to try it on the switch and then see how it goes with the system itself. Been too busy lately

I've not gotten mine to sync up, tbh. I haven't tried again since I first got it though
