I'm fussy I suppose. When I spend market value on something I want it to be in good shape. If I'm slumming around, know what to expect and the price is right I will sometimes buy stuff in sub par condition.

Hot damn, a new MS Flight Simulator was announced at E3 and it looks great. As the world's only fan of Microsoft Flight I love casual flight sims, so the fact that it's also on Xbox is a good sign. Please give me a career mode, progression system, and stupid fly-through-rings and aerocache challenges.

I was watching YongYea's channel for the Switch Direct, I was like, "Sweet, Panzer Dragoon" about ten seconds in and then the chat went wild, YongYea was like "Fantasy Star Fox!" and he waited until the title hit and he was like "...Danzer... Dragoon? Okay." and elicited a big fat facepalm from chat. Was funny.

As the owner of a 14'' PVM, I can't really recommend it. 20 is where things get much more livable imo and even then you have to be fairly close. I prefer my 34'' widescreen CRT. There is a quality difference between it and the PVM, but I would rather have the screen size. It's also incredible for film content so there is that too.

@RobotVM Is that a price from one of the eBay sellers?

VGP made a blog post about the reasons why you should buy directly from them and not from one of those eBay sellers. It's not worth posting here since a lot of it is "do the right thing" stuff which doesn't matter to people looking for a bargain.

I had one of these eBay models. I ended up returning it and getting a VGP model when they came in stock shortly after. I can't comment much on build quality differences, but I did notice the following things:

- My VGP OSSC worked out of the box with my OG Xbox and GBI, but I needed to mess with some timings/settings with the eBay model.
- The eBay model only have slots for three saved profiles. The VGP model has at least ten.

Lunar
GameTZ Subscriber 850 Trade Quintuple Gold Good Trader
12-Jun(#38)
There used to be near 0 listings for OSSC. But now there's a bunch.

I'm pretty sure whatever factory VGP was using for production in China just stole their design and start pushing out their own.

Think of those not directly from VGP as a bootleg version of OSSC.

Honestly you don't need a 4K version. TVs are so good now. I fooled around with a 4K Bravia, pretty much made all my old scalers useless except for as fine tuning/full control instruments. Just getting it up to 4x or so and then letting a new TV handle the rest would be fine imo.

We sell excellent/complete copies for $100. Carts are around $30, boxed are around $50. Has to be complete/nice to really get that premium. $80-$100 if it's excellent for sure though. Adjust $10-$15 per condition downgrade.

Good, just making sure! Wasn't sure if all the optical replacement stuff was made by the same guy, that'd be bad. Having to keep the thing updated to even let it function is such a broken functionality begging to render itself inert.

That craphole can't die fast enough, but no. It's basically on life support. Pretty much the only one really willing to take it on is a porn site, since apparently porn was all it was good for.

I liked it. I did a reblog with some occasional original uploads for videogame crap, had around 300 followers or so before the ban. I didn't reblog lewds or anything, or really follow anyone else who did (other than the occasional artistic touches related to my scene) but as soon as they did that, while I praised Jesus that the Sonic tag was suddenly (moderately) safer to look at, I'm not a big fan of unintended consequences. Such as artwork or uploads that are not porn being pre-emptively banned for being porn. So I said buhbye.

It's also a safe haven for some really ridiculously clueless hyper-liberals, so frankly I'd be happy if it shuttered its doors at some point, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss uploading some VGM and finding a nice GIF to slap on it. If you stick with your target content on your follows you REALLY have to look to find the really stupid people on the platform, so it wasn't really that bad for me, and if it ever got too politically charged, hey. Unfollow. Fixed.

His does look promising but no idea on timeline for release or if availability will be just as tough to come by as Phoebe. Assuming you can pick one up, Phoebe requires little to install, and works perfectly for me so far with a 200gb micro sd. Highly recommend 3d printed tray inserts for both this and the GDEMU as the included mounting hardware is a bit janky to say the least.
