I think half the reason I love 08th MS Team is that it allows itself to be as long as it needs to be to tell its story and then it's like "Fudge it, I'm out. Peace, dog~"
Also the gorgeous animation.

Will be interested to see what you think. I have been debating if it's worth learning to play tekken all over again with a stick after Playing pad since tekken 2/3. Don't want to drop big money on a qanba or something if I decide better off sticking to what I know. Tekken is a game too that even the games elite players online tend to agree that until you get to very highest levels..like Korea level, that stick doesn't have that big an advantage over pad. 5 of the top 8 American players at the last Evo for tekken were pad.
Got a lot of watchers almost immediately... hm! May actually sell. Send me an offer for a bit less to take it off my hands, or watch it escape your reach forever! I'll give you a bonus that the eBay kiddos don't get: What else comes with it!
Throwing in Excalibur 2555AD, Atari Anniversary Edition Redux, and a copy of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain that needs a resurface I guess, didn't work for the gentleman I had traded it to earlier.

I was really tempted to buy all this crap and the system but recent expenditures just raped my fun money.
And btw I even tried that Legacy of Kain in multiple PS1s I have that I know work well. Not sure what the deal was.
Game is haunted obviously.
Yeah not surprised that lot sold, twas a really good no bullcrap price.DefaultGen wrote:

Some people get way too cute with this crap. I love all of these games, they are great. There is a reason games are universally praised typically.
I can't comment too much on the
since I haven't fully completed too many of the popular games.
Super Metroid, Castlevania IV, SMRPG...But I guess Super Mario World needs to be on it.
The games I played alot are some lowly games like Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Mortal Kombat II, Super Street Fighter II....

Not counting fan translations? And i guess in no real order
Secret of mana
Mega Man X
Anyone interested in some SNES Bitboxes? No games, just the clamshells that Stone Age Gamer sells. Can ship you 13 for $25, that'd normally cost around $50-60, they're kinda pricey.
Or, if you prefer your SNES Bitboxes to be stuffed, I do have two cases in particular that have games IN them... Super Metroid with the SFC cart, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island with the Hyundai Super Comboy SFC-shelled English (official Nintendo-release product!) game with a US manual inside. $50 shipped. $70 total for 11 Bitboxes and these two!image

Of which fan translations do you speak? There's a couple snes home brews of Zelda and Mario on Amazon I've had on my wanted list for awhile. They're aren't cheap but I like things most people have never played. But feedback from someone who has played tons of games and knows what they're talking about always helps with these decisions.

Idk about mighty morphin power rangers but the other two are far from lowly, not a lot of people can appreciate fighting games anyways.
Never apologize for liking what you like. MK2 and SF2 Turbo are two of the best games released on snes. I don't remember if I played too much of ssf2 on snes I think I was a little busy with MK2 when we got SSF2 or maybe we just rented it. Plus I preferred the gameplay sf2 turbo kinda still do lol.
Anyways I could do maybe a top 5 to top 10 on Snes but on Nes that list would be way bigger.
But the four easiest ones that are obvious since I talk about them sometimes are
Mortal Kombat 2
Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Mario All Stars
I'd add Ren and Stimpy FireDogs to make it an actual top 5.
There's many others but I can't remember liking as many Snes games as much as my favorite Nes games. So liking them and calling them favorites isn't as easy.
Top 5 SNES would be too hard. I'll list some of my favorites, but could easily list 20.
Super Mario Kart
Secret of Evermore
Illusion of Gaia
Road Runners Death Valley Ralley
Super Punch Out
Rock N Roll Racing

The Mut... oh
I started Castlevania 2 today because I thought you were playing it. AVGN pointed out all the BS in the game so once you know to holy water everything and crouch at lakes and walls, it hasn't been too confusing.

I thought about mentioning Uniracers and Rock and Roll Racing too but they might also be more of a top ten or a top 20. I'm sure there's a ton of others I forgot to list also. But those two are definitely fun.

Tons of them, though it's been awhile, so i can't remember all of them, but stuff like Energy Breaker, Emerald Dragon, Super Robot Wars, and the fire emblem games, even if they were all unfinished.

GBA is a fun one. There are a lot of goofy GBA games. However my list will be boring.
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones
SRW OG 2
Aria of Sorrow
GBA is a strategy beast. Genre plays well on it. The Advance Wars games are solid too.
Long shot, but need some quick cash for a PC part. so

Thanks for those games you mentioned I'll look them up. Emerald dragon sounds interesting from strictly the name lol.

Pc I assume? What games you playing with it?
The PS2 and Xbox 360 had thier own sticks for the ace combat series (source, I got both)
What kind of backwards crap is this?
I bought a Japanese
Namco Museum set from someone on NA, it was missing a really common volume 3, so I was thinking I'll just pick that up separately.
Went to check ebay: Namco vol 3 US version = $3. Japanese? $20+?
I think in Japan there is also a volume 6...
...and do you really only have two dreamcast games?

Ok top 5
time. Even though I do own some of these on later portables I will list them here since this is where they originated. Some RPG gems of all time on the
Final Fantasy II (4)
Secret of Mana
There are so many others but if I had to list 5 that hit me the hardest. With the most memorable music, characters, game design, story. It would be these. I mean I had to leave out masterpieces like Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy III.

Hahahahaha, too late. I was researching turbo cd games this morning. Lol
Yeah buddy, you wanna stay far, far away from those games....especially the shooters.
> @ErickRPG, prob the first person to list FF2 over FF3
I love FFIII. But I played FFII so many times. That first 10 or so hours of the game is engraved into me brain and gives me special feels. It was my first big RPG where I was so impressed with the music, characters. etc. You could say it was the game that made me fall in love with RPGs.
> Not worth it. Rune.
I just dropped him a list of 30 shooters worth playing in PM. I'm not helping this situation, lol.
> The shooters are what I love, that and RPGs.
Hardly any officially localized RPGs. The fan translation scene is bustlin though. Ys IV was rad.DiamondDave wrote:

This is very true.

Agreed, we can go broke together then.

Grab yourself a system and pop by one Sunday for beers and football. I'll loan you what I have to try out(only shooter I have is Macross 2036) If you can find a system with some flaws I know a guy locally that's well know on the FB Turbo collectors page for repairs, re-capping, mod work.

Absolutely brother. Which system plays both hu cards and cds? Hmmm
Konami was being cheap, so they took out all the fluff.
Wouldn't that be MORE work? Did they hand the guys in the localization team the prototype build and say "Just ship it"?
Did a super quick crapty stream to capture some footage quickly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-NBLHR4SQ4
Like, someone fudgeed up on the US release.
