I really like them both so I'd say you couldnt go wrong with either. I guess I'd second ben's recommendation since its finished and you could watch the whole thing in dubs if thats what you're after.

Technically Inuyasha never really finished, the series just ended. That's typical of all of Rumiko Takahashi's stuff though. Honestly i'd say story wise bleach has WAY less filler, especially with whats out on dvd now is pure story for Bleach. Then again Inuyasha filler is better then some the anime currently on the market.

Like he said....Inuyasha never had a conclusion. Its awesome though. Bleach is great but I really hate having to wait a week for the next episode. Id say go with Bleach so you can be up to date.
Great guys! Thanks for the feedback it was exactly what I was hopeing to recieve! I purchased both season one and two of each show. I will let you know how i like them! Thanks again
Inuyasha is by far the worst product that Takaheshi produced, that said its still good but it drags out , the anime has no ending flat out, the mangas ending is pretty bland as well
that being said, bleach has not been a good series since rescue rukia arc, the rest of the series is pretty lousy, so picking the lesser of two evils id say Inuyasha, just dont expect anything spectacular
and regarding the manga, the anime give or take follows it very closely so theres no point in the parts that overlap

I agree, Bleach had me biting my nails when they went to rescue Rukia....everything else where very long fillers that bored me out of my mind. Supposedly its getting better now, I might have to get into it again, probably skip the stupid filler sagas.
bleach is starting to pick up again, its looking like pretty soon its going to be pretty good stuff coming up. the arrancar arc is better than the bount arc. (soul society arc is really great.)
-the vaizard training arc was okay, and there was a decent battle of hollow ichigo vs ulyqoirra , but the espada turned out to be quite lame, and the story is just plodding along
although i will say the Shingami King Arc which should be next has a chance to be good
I enjoyed the fillers except for the Bount one of course. I just wish they'd have some stuff with Ichigo's dad as a soul reaper, an arc on how he became one would be cool.
^i anticipate that has something to do with the Royal Guards which they mention during the flashback arc, and probably will be revealed during the Shinigami King Arc which might be next
i mean all things taken Bleach is still okay, but with the first 40 or so episodes it put it self on such a high level, that all else pales; ill admit the first part of the bound arc was boring, but the actually fights between the bound and the captains in soul society were good imo
ya the fights in the bount arc were good. byukyua (sp?) and soul society stuff is awesome.
that scene where rukia is fighting the girl bount (man i am having problems with names tonight) and she gets in trouble and you see byukuya come walking up in shadow and whip the sword out, you know he's about to lower the boom.. and then....."scatter.." AWESOME!
