Happy Holidays from GameTZ!
Please keep in mind that GameTZ can be a great resource for frugal gift giving. There's still plenty of time to make some trades for gifts. Another thing to keep in mind is that a GameTZ Subscription can make a great gift, either for yourself or for another trader.
This newsletter contains a description of all the changes and enhancements that have been made to GameTZ in the last month.

What's New at the GameTZ?
o Featured Trades on Welcome and Users Page
You may have noticed that the Welcome page and Users search page now have a "Featured Traders" section. This is a system that highlights GameTZ users who have recently made some achievement (like earned a good trader star). The trader's bio or avatar image is shown along with some essential statistics and a line saying what their achievement was.
o Responsiveness Rating
The site now calculates and keeps track of an offer responsiveness rating. The rating comes from looking at offers a traders has received through the Offers System, measuring the time between when the offers was created and when it that trader responded to it.
You will see the rating on every user's page, in the header and on the offer creation page. It looks something like this:
Average Response Time: 11.3 hours (0.5 days) [and in the hover text of the smiley -- 8 offers (responded to 87.5% in less than 1 day)]
This is intended to let people know how quickly a trader is likely to respond to their offer. Also, we hope that this will encourage users to respond to offers quickly (and not let them expire), since responsiveness to offers has been a common complaint.
o Icon Updates
There have been several changes and additions to the icons that are used on the site this month.
Gold Subscriber Icon - Any active subscriber that has over 1 year of GameTZ subscription time on their account will get this icon. We feel that such accounts show strong support for GameTZ and a real commitment to trading.
 icons - When you've completed a trade with another trader, you will see the handshake icon next to their user-name. This has now been expanded to show you a number as well if you have more than one trade with this user. The numbers go from 2 to 10+. Also, if you hover your mouse over the icon, the count will be shown to you. Clicking the icon will show you a page of the trades you've done with that user and the ratings you've given each other.
Advanced Levels for Quintuple Stars - Since we now have many traders who have traded with more that 250 different traders (wow!), we decided to create more levels of good trader stars for them to track their continued progress. The quintuple stacked star has been expanded to have a number in it, for each 50 trader level from 250 up to 950.
Moderator icons - GameTZ Moderators now have a shield with an "m" in it next to their listings so that we all can easily see who they are.
Broken Heart - like the  icon, there is now a  icon to express your broken heartedness.
o Watching Topics
Have you ever wanted to track a topic with the "All My New Replies" feature that you had not posted to yet? Well, now you can with the forum topic "watch" feature. Look for the watch link on topics to activate this. After you click watch, you will see any new posts in that topic on your "All My New Replies" page. You can disable the watch by doing an ignore of the topic.
o View Previous Offers
In the header of every user's page there is now a "Offers: ... view previous offers" link. Clicking it will show you all historical offers you and this user have between you. Use this to keep track of your history with another trader (and prevent making the same offer twice!)

This newsletter is optional for all GameTZ users. If you do not want to receive further issues of this newsletter you can login to your GameTZ account, click on the "My Account" page, scroll down to where it says "Signed up for GameTZ Newsletter: ", change the pop-up next to it from "yes" to "no", then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click
"Submit Account Changes".
