Dispute Resolution Council
A group of GameTZ users has been formed to help traders on the site deal with disputes that might arise during trades. The Dispute Resolution Council keeps track of all BTRs and works to get each one resolved if possible. They act as mediators between traders having a problem. Often, problems can be resolved before a BTR needs to be created.

Various Improvements
Here's a list of stuff that was recently upgraded at GameTZ:
o You can now move items between your collection and wanted lists.
o When you are viewing your own User page, you will now see edit, delete, and move links on your listings there, for your convenience.
o You can now send a message to someone you have a trade with using the "Send Message" feature. The message will be logged in the Trade's history and an email will be sent to the other trader.
o You can also add a note when creating a pending trade or reporting that you have sent.
o When/if you freeze your account, you can now enter a message that will be posted on your User page while you are away. This is so you can let people know why you're away and when you'll be back.
o The performance of the forum system has been improved in a major way. The Forums and "All My New Replies" pages now load much faster.
o Long item lists on User and My Items pages are now paged, to prevent the list from being too long and overloading your browser. You can use the "all" link on the paging like to see the entire list at once, if that's what you want.

GameTZ User of the Month
The GUM for July was Synthetic. Synthetic is certainly one of GTZ's great traders, having completed well over 200 trades in his three years here (he just celebrated his 3rd anniversary). He is regarded by many as one of the most intelligent and articulate users on the site. But what made him the people choice this month? Why did he get an
incredible 17 nominations, almost 1 out of every 4 nominations placed? Easy....he be funny. While his humor can be acerbic, there's no doubting it is witty.
The GUM for August is veln. Although he has only been with us for just over a year, veln has been a standout trader earning a double gold star recently with many repeat trade partners. He is a favorite in the chatroom and forums, earning much praise for being a pleasure to have around. Veln has also written six game reviews and a movie review, and was recently named as one of GameTZ's latest review editors. And last, but not least, he has a cool wife who games and is active on the site as well. Congrats, veln!
