Okay
I weighed the books.
The total weight for the books is around 5 pounds and 2 ounces - the shipping on that ( without shipping them in a box is)
priority mail international regular/medium flatrate boxes - 25.95
Or I could try and ship them in two different packages. I was going by 2 pounds 7 ounces each ( could be a little more) which would run 10.89 plus the weight of a box or poly mailer envelope. Not sure if you'd save much.
Let me know what you want to do.

Ahh thats too bad. Shipping looks to be too much. Too bad im not in the states. Good luck with your auction though, i had those FarSide books when i was a kid and got a kick out of them. Maybe ill get lucky one day and see them on sale in the shops around here. Take care. |

Never a waste of time to work out a trade and great way to make friends too.
I weighed the 3 books and they weigh about 2 pounds & 12 oz. I think I could wrap them in bubblewrap and send them in a poly envelope and could ship them to you for about 12.65 plus the cost of the books

Darn, I wish you'd have let me hold onto the Farside books for you - the paper back ones anyway... Someone else wanted them on another site and the 2 paperback ones are gone. I still have the large hardback book though.

Okay weighed the book and it weighs 2.pounds and 3 oz and by the time I packaged it with bubblewrap & cardboard - the weight would be I would think no more than 2 pounds & 8 oz - shipping f.c.i. 10.89 plut the cost of the book 3.00 so the total would be 13.89 |

Trade these 2 Anne Rice - lasher - 2.00 Anne Rice - taltos - 2.00 for that Planet of The Apes 2 disk DVD? It's ok if you don't want to, I don't absolutely have to have these right now... :) I think I got about 10 or more books to read before these... lol..
You know, you might want to start doing Paperbackswap.com since you have so many books... lol.. that is if you like to read books... if you list 10 to trade you get 2 free credits, and the audio books usually net you 2 credits per set and usually go pretty quickly.. if you do decide to do it, feel free to list me as a reference... lol I get a credit if you do...nick is Lady Amethyst or email is jewelamethyst@comcast.net... (anybody else is also welcome to use me as a reference... shameless plug here...)
All the information is on the web page... you only pay for shipping out books, not receiving books, and they usually are sent media mail so are around $2 to $3 a book.. you can buy credits, but they are cheaper in the forums... you can also print out postage from the site which is really handy because you get your credit immediately after shipping and they do DC on all of packages. Or you can do box of books where you don't give or get credits, but just trade books, it costs $8 for a year, but you can make that up in about 3 books!
It's been really good as far as I'm concerned, I've pretty much completed my Anne Rice series, picked up a ton of manga for my daughter, a couple of other series I haven't read yet... lol.. and currently working on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events for my daughter...
Now all I need to do is go through the boxes of books I have out on the patio... I swear, I am so lazy!! I was going to use the laptop to enter in all the isbn's and titles into my data base... only problem is I can't see the screen.... argh... so I have to hand write out everything, then add them in... but like I said... I'm lazy... laugh... |

Ah lazy. Yeah it took me awhile to do all the lists I have - for the books and the movies as well as the music and pc games I have on those forums. So many items..so little time...lol
