I received my mario hat from the club nintendo platinum rewards. Looking to get $20 in cash or trade for it. Most everything i'm looking for is on my want list, but i will check lists. It's still sealed in the plastic. Pics below are ones i found online, so you can see the hat better.

Can't wait to receive mines.
Instructions? lol... "How to put a hat on" - "Place on top of your head"
Must be instructions on how to wash/clean it. |

lol yeah. There are three sections on the small instruction manual:
About the Mario Hat
Handling and Care
Maintaining
Yeah, I guess some people really need instructions for everything. |

These hats are sadly almost the exact same as the ones they sell with the $20 Mario or Luigi kids costumes at Walmart. http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=97595
I feel like Club Nintendo of America just isn't putting the same effort into prizes as they do in Japan...even the Doc Louis thing was reviewed as feeling like a short demo of PunchOut. |

Dumb question, forgive me ... how does one receive one of these from Nintendo?

My friend bought the Luigi one for his kid and the hats LOOK cool on the package but are actually real cheap. They're real thin, made out of crap material but hey what would you expect for $20. The Club Nintendo one on the other hand is made with quality. |

You're not part of Club Nintendo? It was given free if you had enough points from registering games/systems. |

Nope. I don't even really own games anymore. Got too many other responsibilities going on. I just stick around for the awesomeness that is GTZ

Yes, but you can tell it's not near the quality of the Club Nintendo hat. |
