Sheesh, you seem pretty confident that the Democrats will take back the White House this election. I bet you that they won't. Would you be interested in placing a friendly wager? Here's what I have in mind:
If a Democrat (most likey Obama) becomes the next President of the United States, I will ban myself from posting in the forums here on Gametz from the moment they are sworn in, until the day they leave office.
If the presumptive Republican nominee (John McCain) becomes the next President of the United States, you will ban yourself from posting in the forums here on Gametz from the moment he is sworn in, until the day he leaves office.
So, what do you think? I'm game if you are.

Sheesh gets to be far less of a problem after you filter him and sleep with his wife.
Sheesh is a classic troll - the one thing he loves more than anything is attention - take that away from him and he dies on the inside.
As more and more forum regulars do this, he'll eventually have no one left to talk to here and he can go to political forums where half the people will want to kill him and the other have will want to give him a congratulatory jerkoff.

You have my vote citizen. Though I think regardless of the outcome, Sheesh will continue to be a tree hugging coward that he is. I can't see him ever leaving until more people besides Shaun and I have him filtered. When he stops getting responses, he'll stop posting...

OK. You, alone, aren't enough for me, citizen. I want the "bigger" fish. Let's' go a step further.
If Obama wins you, Shawn, Adam, Danka, Mackey, Chad and Trash don't post for that 4 year span.
If McCain wins, I won't post for the 4 year span.
It's only a deal if all of you agree. Let's pend the trades and use the BTR system if someone doesn't follow through. Also, I would love to have an assurance that bill or other mods will not remove the BTR (based on friendship/multiyear badge) if someone doesn't follow through.
I see this as a great way to improve the community - especially for new users who endure flaming from those (many of the "clique"), above.

Perhaps bill can use his "restriction" powers (instead of a BTR) to restrict the user from making forum posts. That might be a better alternative. When the election occurs, the loser(s) is(are) disallowed to post in the forum through that forum restriction.

You're not a big enough fish - nor pain the ass - for the community. Ridding the community of you wouldn't help. You, generally, are not a disrespectful PITA that flames new and old users alike, getting their rocks off telling users they molest children or some other juvi behavior. I want bigger fish.

Well, even though you're not even worth half of a mackey, I'd be up for the bet if it were on the following terms:
1 year of forum suspension instead of 4 if the "clique" loses - after all, there's 7 of us and just one of you, and we're far more active traders and give so much more to the GTZ community than you do - unless you think whining is a great contribution to the community. We all have unique and interesting personalities, whether it be zane's love of obscure games, my borderline-sexual obsession with Sega/your wife, or even Admiral's even-handedness and leadership... all you are is a Democrat toadie.
A permaban for you if you lose, Sheesh. Not just a suspension of posting, but a complete and permanent departure from the site, and you never return. Ever. Anything less than you being permabanned if we win and the bet isn't worth it.
But we know you won't accept that, which just goes to show that the only huevos in the Zinda family are quite firmly attached to Mrs. Zinda (though she's probably a hyphenated-Zinda, or possibly even kept her own name).

What you don't seem to realize, sheesh, is that all it takes for your year long vacation is a public outcry by the community as a whole. You are pushing it enough as it is, why would anyone take your bet? A couple more months of this and you are out of our hair. If anything the results should be heavily swinged in the mispresented clique you named. Such as 1 month for each of us and permaban for you. |
