I'm editing together a wedding video for a friend of mine, and all the footage is on a single DVD. What's a good program to convert this footage to Quicktime format so I can cut this up in Final Cut?

Handbrake. It does just that. Also, it's freeware.

MPEG StreamClip should also do this. It is also free.
