Indeed. Some corporate religious fat cat created BoB to make lots of cash off of parents who believe their kids are better off watching the 700 Club and other drivel.
And, BoB doesn't turn off the TV; instead, it automatically turns the station to Pravda (FoxcoughNews), the Christian Broadcasting Network and the Spice Channel transvestite hour (as we all know that religious republicans have their vices).
All for $79.95. Great insurance to ensure your kids don't turn out a thoughtful liberal; instead, an ignorant right wing know nothing appreciated by the monied fats cats who believes Katrina was god's (dog's?) wrath on the evil sinners and that we are the spawn of a woman created from the rib of a man whose image was made like a god, a god who gets his rocks off raping virgins.

Dude, I was being sarcastic in that post as I did make one attempt to keep this on topic. Alas, there are trolls who follow me about where ever I go and who I felt in this case needed the response. I see Timmeh got all bent out shape and tried to use it as a "ban sheesh" item (Give it up, Timmeh; use your filter).
For the record, republicans and their "wise use" cronies have killed off a number of endangered species due to the lack of environmental protection. During the Bush administration alone, they've taken the Grey Wolf (16 gunned down this year alone; they were extinct from the west as little as 15 years ago) and Bald Eagle off the ESL and almost killed off the salmon in the Klamath Basin (all for political purposes, mind you; one of those political appointees is now in jail (Steven Griles)) and have done absolutely nothing regarding air and water protection.
Frankly, the republicans were well on their way in destroying the world's HUMAN population given their luddite stance on global warming and other environmental protections. Yet another reason why the electorate has turned against them in numbers seldom seen in our political history.
