Hi guys, I got a check in the mail a few days ago for $280. Is this my tax returns, or is it my rebate check that everyone is talking about? I didn't think I would get a rebate check because I didn't make more than 3000 last summer. I just worked as a waiter, I think I might have made around $2000 at most
Please help!, I am wondering if I should spend this money or just save it, because I just overpaid taxes. Thanks

Probably your tax return. I think the minimum for the stimulus checks is 300. |

Depending how much money you made, if you make more than a certain amount they bring down the cash by 50 bucks per 5000 or something like that. |

Well... did you file your tax return? If you had and you were entitled to a refund which would make sense because you didn't make much then this would be it. I was also under the impression that you wouldn't get your stimulis rebate until late June if you were receiving a cheque by mail. |

If your under 18 and you won't get a rebate check because you can be claimed as a dependent on your parents return.
