Hi,

Back when I purchased my 12" laptop, it came with OSX 10.4. On the desktop there is a hard drive icon that is for OSXTiger. It didn't come with 10.4 discs.

My desktop studio Mac is running OSX 10.3, and I was wondering if there is a way to take OSX Tiger and move it over to my desktop so I can install 10.4 on it. There are some recent photography programs I was looking into but they aren't compatible with 10.3 and need 10.4.

Is this something that is possible to do? Or will I need to spring for the disc versions of 10.4?

You'll need the install disc I presume. I may have an extra install disc somewhere though.
