Although Limbaugh has been at it for almost a year, this is the kind of thing that you will see more of in the coming months from the right. The racists can't help themselves. Not only will outright racism be the norm for political ads, but look for those that call Muslims "ragheads" to play that card on Obama, too.
People see through this, as is evidenced by the now three 2008 Congressional special election losses the Republicans have endured over the last few months. Remember Dennis Hastert, the former speaker of the house from Illinois? His district went Democratic. Two solidly RED districts in Louisiana and Mississippi - one that has been Republican for the last 35 years - have since gone democratic. That's 0-3 for the CONS this election season so far - two in the deep south. These special elections are only a taste of the electoral landslide to come.
Couldn't happen to a better group of people.

Who wants to put money on it that some kooky racist right winger will assassinate Obama when he becomes president? There's a reason he's had Secret Service bodyguards since beginning his campaign. Maybe that is why Mike would rather be an old white man who is president rather than a relatively young black man who is president? The inherent dangers of "white supremacy"?
I can hear the excuse now from Limbaugh: "Well, what did he expect?"

LOL.
Yet another tired, old "R" mantra that is falling on deaf ears and out of touch with reality given we are at war, in a recession/depression, and with record federal deficits.
Guess what the republican convention slogan will be, no crap: “The Change You Deserve.” Change? You mean, they want to change their own policies they rammed down our throats for 8 years and that led us into a recession/depression? Goodness, Is that an indication that they believe they failed during that time?
The "R"s are being sued by the company that owns that slogan, too. You know what that company makes? Anti-depressants.

Not to mention the fact that this wasn't done by McCain or anything to do with RNC whatsoever. This is just some stupid Obama hater that does not represent the part itself. You will not see one ad sponsered by McCain that talks about Obama's race. You definitely will see one endorsed by Obama that talks about McCain's age though.

Most of you weren't alive then Bush's dad ran the Willie Horton ads.
The republican party has actively campaigned over the last 30 years for the hearts and minds of the racists in our country. Now, other than the fat cats and delusional neocons, the racist wing is one of the most solid parts of the "R" base (hence, a good part of the red south). Hell, even the evangelical numbers are now weak, as illustrated by the "Rs" losing the LA and MI congressional special elections.

It doesn't matter if they're close to being the same thing. The pure fact that you need to resort to those levels (i.e. uncontrollable factors) just to try and make your opponent look bad. Why not talk about the issues rather than bringing up their race or age in the first place?

Age is a factor just like it'd be in any job-related position, from sports to the office. Race is completely different.

Or maybe the democrats will play the fake religious card and have it backfire on them when everyone finds out that their pastor is a huge racist... Oh wait I'm sorry Sheesh, he isnt racist if he is a black man hating on a white man.... My bad |

I'll respond to whoever I feel like, thanks for the advice though.
If you're going to complain about racism, I can complain about ageism. Both are unnecessary.
My main point was to show that both sides do the same stupid BS. But, of course, being the liberals that you are (the annoying kind, not that all are, just the majority of the ones on this site), you refuse to acknowledge that anything a liberal does is incorrect.

Well Sheesh, let me introduce you to this man. His name is Robert Byrd. He is a staunch Democrat currently leading in the Senate from West Virginia, and he was once part of the KKK. You have your share of bigots as well...maybe its time to own up to them and stop being a lap dog for the party.
Such blind faith scares me. Thank god my generation has more sense than that...
