So I found out today that every teacher that had a poster in their classrooms that consisted of phone numbers to help kids who are depressed, on drugs, kids who think they might be homosexual, and other things of that sort, had to take them all down. And now they have ONE posted up in the main hallway, so if you do need help, there is no secrecy to it.
All thanks to a few parents who think it gives the "wrong idea"? What does that mean? Kids are going to see it and be like, hey yesterday I was straight, but now that I've seen the poster I think I might be gay(Not saying there's anything wrong with gays, just seems like they think thats a "wrong idea"). It just doesn't make sense to me. |
