I learned from some biker buddies at an early age: Pabst and Jack.
Doesn't matter that I knew these guys while in Milwaukee......
Now, being more refined, Pabst is only good in a bar being a 50 cent tap on a hot day.
Jack is good anytime after noon.

Pabst is GREAT if you are constipated. If not, avoid it like one of Sheesh's conspiracies(or modern day plague).

I was in West Seattle the other day, its a totally pretentious hipster area of town, and we were at this big time hipster bar for dinner and everyone ordered nice beers and I got a PBR tall boy just to be a dick. |

I had a friend that used to drink those constantly. Then when we turned 21 and had enough money to buy decent beer, he quit drinking them. But when you're young and only have a few bucks, Steel Reserve will get you a long way. |

I always liked Yeungling of all the 'cheap' beers, followed by LaBatts Blue. After that for ultra cheap, it is Lion's Head all the way... |

Pabst or Stroh's is mandatory if you are doing any roofing work.

Yeah, but I'm not from Canada... I actually picked up drinking LaBatts Blue in Oklahoma because it was the lost leader at the local alcohol store... $4.99 a 6-pack.. Up here in Montreal, it is more like $10 a 6-pack for LaBatts / Molson (usually cheaper in the US) and something like the exact same price for Leffe, Hoegaarden, or just about anything else including US domestic beers as (imports).... e.g., pretty much they charge $8-13 for just about every six pack, and often various beers are on sale, so it really depends more on the day... like I'm really going to spend $12 on Bud 6-pack... geez.. |

Lion's Head, OTOH was something like a case of bottles for $14.99... good stuff... |

Lived there for 4 years in the late 90s early 00s. I'm now in Montreal, so it is a bit of a drive to get to PA, probably under 6 hours (e.g., maybe 400 miles or less) I'd guess... I suppose it would be the part of PA I was trying to get to... I'm guessing 87 straight down would be fastest to some parts, though probably 81 down would be faster... also would depend on the customs check and what time of day one got to the border. Last few times have been really quick, but I've been held up for ~ 1 hour or 2 just at the border for various reasons... |

Generally, people who talk crap about PBR drink some ice cream man crap like Budweiser or Miller Lite. They're not only yellow-bellied cowards, they're also practically communist now that Budweiser is foreign owned.
Can't drink Steel Reserve. It's disgusting, way too heavy, and unbalanced.
The only three beers worth drinking are PBR, the 800, and the 45s.

I'm really digging this Mountain Creek stuff. Union made in Monroe, WI; and only $7.89 a 24 from Woodman's. Just like PBR and Old Style, only slightly sweeter. |
