The bet is that the PS3 will pass 360 in sales by January 1st, 2010. We each have to pay $50.

eh, I could care less. I just remember a couple weeks ago someone saying they were going to file a BTR over a bet or something similar and bill saying something had to be physically lost.

I dont know if this is considered some serious gambling. A little bet between 2 people isnt enough, in my opinion to be considered gambling and enough to shut GTZ down
I think Bill said it was alright just as long as it wasnt like a big gambling ring type thing.
If I made a bet with my brother or friend or neighbor etc, you think you need a license for that? I dont know, Im just trying to say that this is different and harmless compared to a gambling ring of serious bets.

It would be fine as long as this doesn't spread. If, however, new people decide this is a good way to gain feedback and it becomes more widespread then it could be a problem. It still shouldn't be encouraged as it's not what gametz is for.
