Really just curious as to how this goes. I've taken many piss tests over the years, but this will be a first. Bonus points to anyone who details how they passed one despite...ya know. |

I think all they do is snip off a few hairs then test it in a lab or something, this might help:

bleach your hair for 2 hours then shave it all off. theyll never suspect a thing! |

Yeah this is hardest one to pass. near impossible actually. Hair testing can trace back pretty far.

They clip a small section of your hair. If your hair is to short they will take it from your underarm. |

Wash your hair in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and baking soda for half an hour, works every time. |

It's probably similar to when they test you for arsenic poisoning. Your hair grows a certain amount each month, so they cut it into pieces and see when you did the drugs. So yeah it can go back pretty far.
Makes me wonder, do they discriminate against people who do have a shaved head? What if your a shaved headed woman with smooth pits?
I only ever peed in a cup, or had the nasty salty bitter swab in my mouth for a drug test.

I had a friend get a job with Pepsi and had to take a hair sample test. He had about 2 weeks notice and shaved his body bald... arms, legs, pits, everything besides his head, which he just used an electric clipper with no gaurd. He hadn't done anything for a couple months at that point and when he finally went in, they took a sample from his head and got the job. |

can't you guys just stop smoking weed for a couple weeks before the test? that's what i would do if i had to get one, but i don't have a job.

My dad made me do this once when I was 15 and taking mad hits of acid. I failed miserably. They used hair from my fore arm.

Any hair on your body will work. Since most guys don't shave everywhere, there is plenty of hair to choose from. |

I agree but a hair test can go back 3 months where a piss test you can be clean after a month or even a week .If I smoke 2 months ago then get a surprise offer or apply for a new job I might be screwed. Normally I try to stop smoking for 2 weeks but I don't smoke much.If smoking a lot,I would feel safe after 3 weeks to month. I never got hair tested,only urine,I was actually thinking about applying at Pepsi,so that's good to know that they might give you a hair test.
From erowid.com most drugs can be detected up until 3 months which makes it even.It would always irk me how how coke or meth can be tested for 3- 5 days but weed is for a month. In general for urine test people get so nervous or want to cheat the test. |
