A couple of days ago I bought a VGA Hd Cable for the Xbox 360 so I could play it on my FlatPanelomputer monitor. My monitor however does not have sound and I have no way of knowing how to get sound. I tried using USB speakers but that did not work either. Please keep in mind that I only have the screen and not the whole desktop. Please tell me what I need to do in order to achieve sound. =) |

The VGA cable is only going to pass video. You'd have to hook up the audio portion of that cable to something that can output sound. I doubt there's any kind of pass through on the monitor that would allow you to have speakers hooked up to it. |

This should work, just plug the red/white rca plugs in and then a speaker set into the 3.5.

I just need to know what that cable is called and where I can get one. And do I need to only get 3.5 speakers or speakers that have the red and white input/output? |
