Want to hook my PS3 up through wiring it. For some reason, my ISP changed the way our internet works and it screws with my wireless modem, making my PS3 work once every 10 days if I'm lucky.
Need a long cord. 75 to 100 feet. Anyone have one, or know where I can get a cheap one?

anything over 15ft you will start losing strength. just leting you know. most places like best buy and such sell those are least they used to. friend bought some from there before when he lived next door and tried to jump my router |

Gotcha. Hm.
Not really sure what to do other than switch my ISP, which I'm going to do. I don't mind losing strength. My signal strength is actually great (85+ percent at all times), but some update my ISP did messed up my wireless thing. Figured Wiring is the way to go.
I guess if I start losing strength I should measure EXACTLY how much I need. Maybe I could cut it down to 50 feet if I just straight up clotheslined it across my apartment instead of ran it on the walls.

By the way, what is CAT5? I'm retarded with wiring systems. I went wirelessly from the get-go so I have no idea WTF is going on.

Try to hard restart router and modem. Maybe get a cheap ethernet cable form ebay or amazon, they work just as well as brand name for the most part.

That was a good site for info. I just fell in the same situation as you kinda for my 360. I just hate wireless in general it annoys me to no end, and I feel safer being hard wired for some reason~ I live in an apartment to I just measured the distance I would need to go to a decent part in the ceiling etc for the cord to run across and tapped it up there. (really kinda hard to go through the walls where I live) plus I made sure it was a color to somewhat match so its not like a eye grabber. The other option to tack the stuff up that I found is use picture hanging hooks and then when the cord is in there just lightly tap the hook so it grabs onto the cord. Worked really well with our phone cord cause its in a really odd place in our apartment.
But I got mine off Ebay. So far it seems to work pretty well. Came with some nice locking clips to make sure they don't come undone. It came from a seller named digi-accessary. The picture for most of his stuff is blue but when I paid I just put in there I would prefer white or grey and they sent a grey one++. I only got a 30ft one because that was all I needed and it gives me enough for alitle movement as needed. Best bet when your looking is to keep it to as little as possible naturally the less distance anything has to travel the better:) Hope that helps! |

Some ice cream man got me with cp.f the other week though. I can't remember who but it was someone that usually doesn't lay down the links and I totally fell into the trap.

Will try to have the fight up tonight. There will be several lords of darkness in it. If it's not by tonight, it will be by tomorrow night.

I can't wait.
I've got some plans for my next fight once I receive my new figure(s?!). It will have a few moments that will, as the pro-wrestling fans would say, make you mark out. |
Forgotten_Freshness

| | #28 posted November 3, 2009 at 2:47pm (EST) |
Oh hell yeah. Look at those accessories! And you need Mr T. He's a staple.
So is Krauser, but you need to be more down with the DMC I think.

Chad
| | #29 posted November 3, 2009 at 2:50pm (EST) |
Hard to say. Looks like youve got at least 20 usable ones. In general you need at least 8 points of articulation, preferably at least 10, to have usable figures.
I'd say yeah, worth it. |
Chad
| | #30 posted November 3, 2009 at 2:51pm (EST) |
Krauser is eventually necessary for everyone.
When it comes time for him to drop the belt, we as the committee will need to make that decision. |

I didn't get a chance to run by Goodwill today but definitely going tomorrow. Regarding this auction, how high do you think I should allow it to go before it's a bad deal (remember the $14 S/H)? |
Chad
| | #32 posted November 3, 2009 at 3:06pm (EST) |
Donnu. After shipping, the cheapest figure I've bought is like $4 and that was for a marvel legends spider-man and human torch. Most of mine have been in the $10-20 range. For that lot, maybe $36 ($50 total).
Or consider a higher quality but lower count lot like this http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-Legends-Build-a-Figure-... |

Saw this a couple of days ago but the guy ended it (OBO, I imagine) a few hours before it was suppose to end. Had some pretty awesome figures + accessories but most of them looked like statue-models, not really positionable. Still, quality of those figures is sexy.

Chad
| | #34 posted November 3, 2009 at 3:16pm (EST) |
thats not a bad lot.
overall i say its more important to get figures you want that pure volume. though high volume of figures you want is the best! |
Chad
| | #35 posted November 3, 2009 at 3:17pm (EST) |
My next fight I'm thinking of having an undercard. Someone like moon knight needs more action than he's gotten, but he's not main event material. |
Forgotten_Freshness

| | #36 posted November 3, 2009 at 3:18pm (EST) |
That lot for $90 was insane. The Castlevania figures are incredible quality, and I know for a fact the Kratos figure and the guy from Soul Reaver were good figures too for AFFL. Plenty of fun crap they could do. I wish my friend Todd wasn't so inferior to me or I'd talk to him and try to get his Kratos.
