I was just wondering, how popular is Google Chrome among the gametz population? I use it...I used to use Firefox, then I found out about Google Chrome, and I liked it, and stuck with it. I have Firefox, Safari, IE, and maybe Opera on my computer, just in case....but I use Chrome 99.5% of the time. How about.....YOU!?

I have all 4 installed and use Chrome primarily. Since some websites like in the 1950s and don't support Chrome I have to switch to Firefox sometimes.

Once the Mac version is more stable, I'll give it a shot. For now I'm primarily using Firefox. |

Given google's penchant for tracking/keeping everything, don't some of you have concerns about privacy? How this affects your future (i.e. businesses/employers doing background searches on you)?

I develop webpages so I make sure they work in all (major) browsers.
I have Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, IE6 and IE8.
I use chrome as the default.

I've found Safari to be far more stable than Firefox. I had been using Firefox since I got my Mac in spring 08, but switched over to Safari probably around spring of this year. Any reason I should go back?

They're both pretty stable for me, but in my experience Firefox is definitely faster than Safari.

I tried to switch to Safari, but missed some FF extensions too much (Firebug mostly). Safari crushes FF in terms of speed. Once the stuff mentioned here gets into the official Safari build, I'll probably try to dump FF again. |

Y'know what should be fixed that should never have even been an issue? GIFs. Slow-ass GIFs.

From the tests I ran on my machine between all the browsers Safari ate the most ram. In some cases twice as much as chrome and Opera.
