not to be an ass, but why would we send money and not expect something in return? seems to me if you're in such dire straits you'd sell your collection before peddling?

Feeb - when people usually ask for donations, they don't have any intention of giving something to the donor in return....at least that's what I get from it.

What's your interest rate at?

At the very least you should give your credit card company a call and ask if they can reduce it. You'd be surprised how easy it is.

I have an american express card that was at 18% for a couple years, and so I called and asked them to lower the interest rate. They dropped it to 9%. No hassles at all. The worst that happens is they say no and you're out 5 minutes for the phone call.

It won't get you out of debt, but it will would make your payments go a little further.

Sorry for being a bit skeptical, but how does that actually work? Do they just lower their interest rate without any strings attached if you just request it? I find this a little hard to believe if so..

basically yes. I know it's hard to believe, but that's essentially all their is to it.

If you miss payments later or are late, then your interest rate can go back up, but as long as you've been paying on time for a while, a lot of credit cards will do that.

It's obviously not something they advertise, and it's almost unbelievable but it's true.

But don't take my word for it:

$500 in debt isn't dire straits by a longshot.

He just wants out completely so he doesn't have to pay interest each month. Borrowing money from someone else to do that isn't going to change his situation at all - he'll still be in debt, just to someone else.

Why are you being an ass to a well respected member of gameTz, he has over 900+ trades, and obviously you don't know what its like to be in debt, its not a good feeling at all, so stop making things worse and stop spamming this thread.

Skull_Leader - I never really put much thought into it, so feel free to make an offer. I would actually like to sell all the Dune books together as one large set if possible.

Shut the fudge up and get off your newb pedestal. Being that I have a mortgage I owe $90,000 on; school loans in excess of $30,000 and a car payment, I happen to know a little about debt. Since you're being all high and mighty why don't you loan me some of that? I take paypal.

I have enough dignity and self respect that I'd never ask for help from others; especially if it were on a leisure / hobby trading site... $500 is not debt.

I don't care who it was, VDub, my dad or Jesus Christ. I'd say the same thing.

I didn't mean to offend you in any way. I'm just saying you don't really need to be an ass about it. Its not really degrading to ask people for help though, some people do need help at times. Its disrespectful to say that you loose your dignity by doing so.

FFA (GH) is being sold for $11 used on Amazon.com, along with FFC, although the pic is of the original release.

As far as Tales of the Abyss is concerned, the game is still unopened and is being sold for $30. The guide is being sold for $16 new & used. *raspberry*
