It started today....I went to my local Circuit City an hour after it opened and it was pretty much bone dry. I did end up with NBA Street Homecourt for the PS3 and Elebits. They only had one of each, and pretty much nothing else. |

first off - thanks for the heads up.
secondly here was my experience with this sale:
A0 Circuit City is a mess, no wonder Best Buy is kicking its ass. Anyways a looooong list of games is available as each store apparently has its own list. Also its limit 3 titles per customer, so bring a friend if you require more. The 16.97 titles however DO NOT COUNT against the 3 titles, just the $9 titles. Anyways I went this afternoon at lunch and there were 3 people sifting through with the full list. I had what I wanted on a piece of paper which helped. I ended up scoring parappa, Medevil:darkness (the 2nd one is on clearence not the first), and chilli con carnage. The had plenty of guilty gears as well. They were out of elebits. I also scored Pirates and Lunar Nights which they had a few of. They didnt have mario luigi or hotel dusk, tiger woods wii or elebits - all of which I was looking for as well.
Anyways 5 newish titles for 63$ was still worth the trip |

just saw this today. i guess the mega game blowout (when i asked the guy) started on sunday. people went crazy. nothing in the bins but garbage ass sports games.
but i went through the titles on the shelves and found karaoke revolution and gundamn! THANKS MAN! =)

I've had no problem still finding games if anyones wondering if anything is sold out. I hit 3 CCs on day 1 and another one today. Some were loaded up on Sylpheed and Bullet Witch, one had rows of Gun and Quake 4 but nothing else... 2 of them had the clearance games in a bin, 2 of them had the clearance games hidden behind Viva Pinata Party Animals and Bioshock on the shelves.

I would have, but I went by a CC today and found a copy. I didn't go through the PS2 or PSP games, but they did have two copies of FFV (one after I left), a couple FFIVs and a couple Elite Beat Agents. |
