http://www.gamestop.com/gs/newnews/fsi/images/EBC3...

The 30% off used GC/Xbox games was pretty fun; for anyone looking to stock up their next-gen library, this + Edge Card = 35% off.

Some of the stuff I was telling my buddy to pick up so I could try to... *raspberry* (sadly, I haven't invested in a 360 yet), (after 35% off)

Assassin's Creed = $17
Mass Effect = $23
Bioshock = $23
DMC4 = $26
Blue Dragon = $17
Burnout: Paradise = $23
Lost Planet = $12

Just a few tidbits as I looked through GS.com's Used game listings. Good luck! *smile*

EDIT: After checking eBay on some of the titles above, it looks like none that I thought might be worth something are remotely flippable. Most are at or above eBay completed prices; although this is not my area of expertise, I wouldn't look to profit off anything from this sale.

Are there any valuable 360 games yet?

I'm no expert on the 360, but if I'm interpreting what you're saying correctly, I don't think there's any game that has a good, proven profit margin. I mean, I'm sure there are some games you can make a few bucks off, but with this recent round of 30-40% off GC/Xbox, I've noticed eBay is flooded with all the good stuff from that sale (Zelda: CE, Ikaruga, etc.), thus flattening out prices a bit. I was under the impression that this would be more of a good library/gamer-collector building coupon rather than something to make money off of.

Of course, I'd be more than happy to hear someone prove me wrong. *raspberry*

i was wondering the same thing. I don't own a 360, but if i could pick up some games worth flipping, and i could make atleast $10 off of the game after fees and my shipping costs, i'd pick some stuff up.

Yeah, I mean, I plan on getting Dark Sector to keep for myself, it'll only be about $22 with the coupon. But yeah lazyone, I was talking about profit margin *raspberry*

If there are any profits to be had, this isn't going to even remotely touch the 30% + 10% off on GC/Xbox games this past week. Like I mentioned above, mostly for gamers looking for quick, fairly inexpensive access to decent games locally.

well, it'd be pretty close, being 35% off with edge card.

Yeah I know. I used the GC/Xbox one last week too. Also, like sixteenvolt just said, it's only a 5% difference from last week's coupon.

Not really anything you can profit from after just a 35% discount off GS's 360 prices.

It might work ok if you wanted to turn credit into cash, but there really aren't any "rare valuable" 360 games.

There are some good GS --> Blockbuster flips. Viking and Condemned 2 are $18 --> $32, Fatal Inertia is $16 --> $32, Sega Superstar Tennis is $13 --> $25

spunion, does BB give you cash though? i've thought about doing BB flips, but with my luck the one by me would be one of the ones that didnt give those prices for the games *dead face*

$15

But that also includes a one year subscription to game informer magazine, which goes for $6 an issue in normal stores by itself.

As long as its a corporate Blockbuster and not a franchise Blockbuster, they will take trades and they prices will be the same.

The best part is they are doing B1G1 free on all games $14.99 or less starting on Tuesday, so there will be tons of good deals to be had, plus you can use the $15 trade in credit coupon at GS to transfer credit back and forth between the two stores for a $10-20 credit profit each time you trade into BB or GS without spending money. Basically you'll be up $10-20 every time you trade in a couple of 360 games at GS and you'll be up $10-15 every time you trade in Viking, Condemned 2, Fatal Inertia, or Sega Superstar Tennis.

I'm going to be hella busy starting on Tuesday.

That's not the point. The 40% off was on GC/Xbox games that were sitting at relatively close to eBay prices and thus, you could buy them at a discount and then flip them. After checking the bay, most of GS's used 360 prices are already ABOVE eBay pricing, so this coupon simply brings the stuff down to where it SHOULD be at, not where it can be profited at. That's what I meant, not that 40% off is 5% more than 35% off. Of course, I go off eBay; if you have some mystical source where 360 prices are relatively high, I wouldn't know...*raspberry*

I think Spunion hit it on the nail that there's no "real" money to be made here, but the whole flipping into BB/GS credit is intriguing. I'm not sure if I'm up to the constant shuffling back and forth to do that, but I'm sure somenoe's going to jump in here and brag about getting $2000 worth of credit or something. I guess if you have a credit card and are determined, you'll eventually be able to spin a nice profit, but seeing as I deal mainly with money I actually have, I'll just head back to Craigslist and let this coupon blow over.

Good luck to whomever does try to make something special out of this! I still say it's just a good library-filling coupon and nothing more.

this is still a pretty good deal on some of this stuff though, even if it isnt really under ebay prices, if you are looking for something to play, someone mentioned dark sector for 22 thats not to bad. not a lot of profit potential though on this one.
