I got Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for PS3 today for $14.98. Somebody left the NCF tag out as it rang up for the correct GH price of $29.99. Interesting thing was, when I stopped by last Monday, it was priced correctly. Very odd. |

Is it just me or does anybody else's target not have a clearance section? It makes me sad hearing about all these low priced games...

The clearance is generally on an end cap, not always in electronics... sometimes near the cds or pc games or in an adjacent department. Clearance games are also sometimes in the game cases. |

Im gonna go check it out. Im pretty sure they used to just randomly throw some games at the end of one of the aisles, but I havent seen that in a while.

The bigger the store the more games they will have, where as if its a really small Target they probably won't have much. |

I work for Target, and in electronics, check the backs of isles too. I jsut set an end cap on the back of an isle last week and nothings gone because people dont think to check at the end of the printer ink for Video Games lol. Check the cases too we do put them in there too. Prices will vary from store to store depending on how long the game has been on clearance. We clearance things typically on Tuesdays as well. The Smackdown vs Raw 2009 is a good deal. I picked it up for that price as well because I used it as one of the trade 3 get Fight Night R4 at Gamestop, bought it for $12.49 and got $21 in credit for it lol. |

I was at a Target today that had Afro Samurai and Banjo Kazooie still. Afro still had a 41.98 sticker even though it came out to 14.98. I guess they found games that somebody was hiding. |

Pelle

| | #19 posted July 2, 2009 at 3:39pm (EST) |
would using them to trade in at eb be fraud then too ? |
DreamSymphony
| | #20 posted July 2, 2009 at 3:39pm (EST) |
No, because you are then reselling.... |
Pelle

| | #21 posted July 2, 2009 at 3:41pm (EST) |
but if someone used it as one of the 3 towards fight night thus bumping its value up that would be personal gain which is the definition of fraud |
DreamSymphony

If that is the definition of fraud then every store is fraudulent because they sell stuff for more then they purchased it for. It has nothing to do with the value. |

it doesnt really matter to me lol... i personally kept a copy for myself and used a copy towards getting fight night as well... at 12.50 there are 100 ways you can make money off of svr 09... im sure u could make money off each copy on here or cag or ebay or amazon |

In the broadest sense, a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual.

If you can't find the clearance rack, ask a media or electronics employee. Most tell me where it is when asked, some have even brought more out. I find that the majority of clerks don't really care how cheap the stuff is, and don't buy for themselves. The more you buy however, the less they need to manually catalog into inventory for the next round of price drops. |
