Wow $100 free. You cant beat that.
Racing your Honda is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded. |

What's so bad about the Arcade version? Just crappier memory? |

No HD included with the Arcade. That's still a pretty sweet deal though. I'm also eyeing that DVD player with 1080p upconversion for $29. That Sharp 42" also looks like a great deal. Looks like they're trying to get a jump on Black Friday this year. |

So basically.. run games off of the memory card or buy the HD? |

well you won't be running the games off the memory card - it'll just be used for saves. If you buy the HD you have the option of installing the games and running them off the HD resulting in faster load times and you'll also avoid the risk of your 360 scratching your disc.
edit: correction on the memory card. i believe it has internal memory of 512MB. you can probably download some XBLA games to it if you really wanted to. |

it is a new jasper unit with the 512mb of memory which really is 451mb because they reserve some room. |

I'm tempted to buy a stack of these to flip, but don't want to fight through 100 rednecks waiting in line trying to get one at midnight. Might be worth it though..

I managed to get one. Went in at 8 am and they handed me a ticket. Problem was the line was super long and they had only one register open. Took them 1.5 hrs to get to me. |

Walmart busted out the shenanigans on this one. The ad stated in bold, minimum 10 units per store. The one I went to only had 2, someone I know in Seattle said their store only had 5, and other comments on the web from around the country are saying more or less the same thing -- they baited people to go to the store and only gave out a tiny number of Xboxes, less than the amount advertised. And seriously, 2 units? Even on a regular day there's gonna be more than that sitting on the shelf. |

My buddy who works there says the employees get first dibs at his store. Probably like that all over. When I worked at Lowe's we'd always (those that arrived at 5AM for work) check out the sales and have first pick before we opened our doors at 6AM.
Speaking of which, he saved me a 360 and I just picked it up this morning. He overrided the system and still hooked me up with a GC so I got this bundle. Already used the GC but the 360 is for sale. Probably putting it on eBay but messaged Frank to see if he needs another for his store. Those interested, hit me up. |
